Both of their birthdays were over a month ago and I am feeling like I may have let them down a little bit. I usually send them a small check. They are both working. One is 24 and the other is 28. I did send them each a card. I don't even get a card from either one of them.

Hell they are both old enough that a phone call saying "Happy Birthday" is sufficent.

Well if your doing it from heart it shouldn't matter if they send you a card. You don't give things to receive things. some ppl are just not that considerate, but that do sent mean you should stop what your doing, because if anything happen to you at least they would have something good to say about you. Also why should you feel you let them down buy not sending money to them they are both grown and working they have to understand times can be ruff at times and money do sent come that easy. A card should be enough now days they are not children any more.

If you've already sent a card, that is more than enough to recognize their birthdays. If not, you can still send them a check. I have a steadfast rule that I've always followed...if I send a gift and do not receive a thank you note or call, I only send a card the next year.

Sending a card is more than sufficient. You recognized their birthday and that's what's important. Gifts are not necessary, especially for people that fail to remember you on your birthday. Don't feel guilty and have a great day.

Trust your heart. If you feel guilty send it to them. People should do right even when wrong is the return. Hopefully they will go on to be doting aunts and uncles because of the wonderful example you have set for them. But they are adults, so don't sacrafice something you cant aford to lose, please pay your rent and buy your food before endulging an ungrateful adult.

I think that a card would suffice. They are old enough to understand that you don't get presents anymore. If you feel that you would like to though, go for it. Presents are just an added bonus.

Well give out of the kindness of ur heart not to recieve something. If ur sending them gifts b/c u want something in return, then dont waste ur money. Otherwise do what u do.
