They took care of you, now it is time for you to take care of them.

If they need the money to go somewhere, you should go along if you'd like to. If they'd rather be alone - that is very romantic for people their age.

Adult children should help their aging parents out, if necessary. Where else are they going to go for help?

don't u hate that. same thing with me my father messed me over so many times he is a severe alcoholic and gave 200 dollars to his girlfriend. calls me up out of state and i just had a baby to ask me for the money to turn his lights back on. some people take advantage of their kids because they know their kids will allow it. life is not fair but that is the way the world works.

hey, at least they ask you first. my mom and stepdad are in a bit of a financial situation, so my mom borrowed money from my college savings. this was 2 years ago, and they still haven't paid me back. i'm finally starting to earn my own money, but i'm going to put it in my bank account with my dad (my parents are divorced) because i don't want money to be taken away from me without my knowing until 2 months after.

are they treating a homeless person to dinner or are they taking your bro or sis somewhere. it depends on their motive if its not proper or not and of course your willingness to give them the money in the first place.

they shouldn't be doing that and you shouldn't let it happen- don't give them money, my parents used to "borrow" money from me and I never saw any of it back...
