One of those over the hill cards with a tombstone...no... something funny though. :) If you were dying, wouldn't you want something to make you smile?
I either want to be laughing in the face of death while overcoming overwhelming odds (ok, too many fantasy and sci-fi novels, I know), and/or I want to be content knowing I've lived a good life, helped others, and made a positive difference in the world.
Giving me a funny card and writing me a note to say I've made a postitive difference in your life would mean the world to me...
I can only hope it helps soften the blow for your loved one and ease their transition. My prayers are with you. :)
