Ideally, how many children would you like to have and why?

2-3, one of my own and the other(s) adopted. I'm an only child and having no brothers nor sisters is sometimes difficult to deal with.

I already have 3. I'd love to have 2 more, but my good sweet husband is happy with three. I was an only child and have always wanted a great big family. Our little family of 5 will have to do. I take heart in the fact that someday I'll have grandchildren and hopefully that will be a houseful.

Ideally, for you personally only you can answer that. It depends somuch on financial, housing ability to spend time with them. I have three, and almost lost the last they tell me I can't have no more if I do get pregant I will love it just like I love the first three. But remember each child comes with thier own special problems and you have to be willing and able to deal with them.

I would like maybe as many as 6... I would love a large family since I do not have one. I want to start my own large family. If my family had a reunion, only one person would show up- me.

for me id love to have 2 but ideally 1 is plenty ...if i had the imcome id have more ....but I want to give my child all that I can and this day and age its very hard with the price of everything,,,so 1 it is.

so each kids would have someone to play with and be close with
and there won't be one missing out all of the time
