Family - July 2006

Ok my moms b/f seriously is a loser he has been in jail alot of times , he has no licence, always getting drunk with his friends, and doesnt take care of my sister or his daughter ever im serious he just takes her for 5 mins a day, he smokes by the baby and is a total jerk to everyone. He calls my mom names the worst ever. I dont know i cant stand this anymore. Everyone can see what kind of loser he is but her. What can i do to make her see that. I mean seriously isnt that emotional/verbal abuse and it can lead to physical. HELP!?!?!?!

to sleep over aside with them (like every little kid wants) and to no surprise saw them both making out and you being a little kid thinking they are just 'asleep' since their eyes are closed? and then years years later you go back and remember that moment and think, omg! did my parents even notice i was right next them as they were doing it???

friend, but I'm not sure she knew it. I'm 28 now with a family and sometimes I feel like calling her, polishing her nails, or telling her about my latest sex toy.I didn't get to spend my adult years with her really because I was in the military. I was hard on her at time because I thought she could do better with the life she was given. I never really accepted her for who she was, but who I wanted her to be, who I thought she should have been. I don't really have a question to ask, just tell me you thought if there are any. My brother is 12 and he is the middle child, always wants attention always bothering someone just to see the outcome. My other brother is 10 and he's the youngest, and he has a bit of an anger problem. So every night we get to hear the 10 year old says "Shut Up"! about twenty times and my other younger brother is always bothering him. It ended up with my mother crying. Anyways to get them to stfu?

I have to wear dresses a lot for a organization I'm in, and I usually have dresses made because it's cheeper than buying one. But I recently bought this beautiful fabric and I want a dress made out of it, but my mom want's to make it for me because she doesn't want to pay a semstress to do it. But she's not a good sewer and she's never made a dress before and I don't want her ruining the fabric because I had to pay for it and it's gorgeous. I tried to tell her no in a nice way, but she just gets offended. What can I do? and I don't have the money to have someone else make it either.

my ex and i used to use heroin. about march 2005, we both got clean. we were both recovered (or so i thought). however, i just found out recently that he is back on heroin and not only that, but he is SHOOTING it, which is something that neither of us had ever done. we have a three year old daughter who he sees less and less everyday (now i know why). when i confronted him, he denied it at first, but soon admitted it. i asked him what he plans on doing with himself. he OF COURSE said that he was gonna quit, to give him two weeks (mind you, these are exact words i used when i got caught by my family, so i know what that means). you just can't stop alone - u need family, good friends, good influences etc. i keep rubbing in the fact that he's such a good-looking guy and so smart and talented and i ask him to look at his daughter, LOOK AT HER hoping something will work. sometimes i also attack, but i think that is worse. please, he is a good friend and my daughter's dad, HELP!!!

I was having an.... intimate session... with my wife, when my daughter aparently got frightened by the thunderstorm rumbling away outside.

When I looked up I saw her standing there with tears in her eyes.

Every time I try to talk to her about it, she shakes her head and tells me that she doesn't want me hurting mommy anymore.

when I was going out fior a night out...she said 'Are you going to speak to me' ...I ignored her and carried on to speak to my mum to tell her I was going out. My sister said in aloud voice 'We have not spoken for two weeks'...i just ignored her. As I guessed as soon as I stepped out the door ...she begins shouting at my 68 year old mother (she is 30 years old) that we should be talking and that my mum should sought it out. She called me a bastard and I slapped the door. I don't trust her..she is a liar, manipulator, and again as predicted she can't speak in a decent way she has to raise her voice and cry...pathetic. Well I was determined not to let her ruin my night. She is in no way grown up. I am just going to come home from work everynight , get my dinner and stay in my room....that has suited me fine over the last two weeks ...than having to make an effort with her as my sister. We are not close. If we were not related she wouldn't want to know me anyway. Is she is overreacting?

my son will not listen to any thing i tell him i have tried everything time out, ignoring him yelling smacking his but you name it i bet ive tried it and yes this was a problem before i even got pregnant he will just ignore me and continue doing what i asked him not to do. i fell like im always yelling and screaming at him & feel like ive lost touch with him.I love him very much and i dont think he knows that any more i always tell him but i just dont know im willing to try anything i wonderif its because we are living with my mother inlaw & her husband.

I think it is absolutely wrong to rat out your sibling to your parents, and I would never do it. In one question I mentioned my 11 year old sister is sexually active. So many people responded and said I should tell my parents. I think that is very wrong. I would not rat out my sister if she was in Al-Qaeda.

my daughter is 10 yrs old at the moment and she asked me that when she grows up and decided later to have kids would they have adhd(attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) as well, and is it heregity, i dont think so i never had it as a kid, but there again it was never diagnosed then.

How often should family pictures can be taken??
I have a friend , that every christmas she goes to SEARS to take family pictures, I haven't take pictures of my family since 2003, now I have a son(20 months) & pregnant again... The thing is that last year we didn't took it because my step-son was not here ( he lives away I didn' t come all year). Should I wait until December when he comes to take a family picture or should we take one now & then when he comes. I don't want for him to feel bad or to feel that he is not part of our family .... What to do?????

Well my son is kind of a trouble maker and he is to rebellious for his age, i feel like its my fault because in a way i do give my daughter a little more attention because she is a baby, my son be telling me that i love her more than him because i always have her i try to explain to him that she is smaller than him and needs attention and i need to make sure she is not putting stuff in her mouth, but anyways how can i make my son understand that i ddo love him and that she is just a baby.????
