If you want a "Z" name, why not Zinnia?

It's a beautiful flower loved by butterflies...

Personally I like the sound of the name. What, if anything, does it mean. Just a few things you might want to consider. When kids get older one of the things a lot of teachers do in school is look up the meanings of names. I remember a little girl in my daughter's class getting really upset because her mother had given her a "unique" made up name that didn't mean anything. Also, think about how her friends will abbreviate her name - Andy, Zandy, Ria, etc. Don't assume that you can set that for her. One of my daughter's names is Meghan and we call her Meggie but all her friends call her Meg. Its the little things that can make a difference because a name is something you carry with you for the rest of your life.

ZANDRIA
Gender: Female

It's a cute name. It may be a bit hard for a child to learn to say or spell at first.

I like the name. My brother's girlfriend is named Zandria and the earlier comment calling her Zandy....that is adorable.

I'm sorry but it sounds like the name of a sleeping pill. Also if you change the Z to an X, that's the name of a company that sells adult toys and products. The Xandria Collection.

It sounds like a drink - "Can I have a glass of Zandria please?"

No, I don't like it.

Oh, I love it. It's exotic. That Z kind of gives your tongue an initial buzz and the rest flows out like a balmy breeze on a moonlit night.

Not that hot. Go for more of an exotic name, a name that no one else seems to have, something interesting.

Sounds like a horrible name to me. Reminds me of sangria. Why not just name her Brandy or... Beer?
