If she's going to college or getting her own apartment, something for her dorm or whatever is always great. Depending on your budget, nice bedding is always special. My aunt got me a miniature photo album to fill with special photos to take with me when I left home, and that's still special. Avoid photo frames, lotion, or other stuff that she'll get a lot of from everyone else. Try to give her something personal, maybe something you know she wants but haven't gotten herself.

One of my favorite gifts I got and I have still today is a monogrammed towel set. It's great especially if she is going to college, or will have a bunch of roommates. Of if she graduating from college its still a nice gift!

But really anything monogrammed is a nice gift. A frame that says sisters with a nice picture of you two... or differently if there are more siblings. But it sounds as if you really care about her and want to get her something nice! Good luck!

I think it's nice to give jewelry for a special occasion like this. Maybe a pair of earrings or a necklace.
