A 10 year old and a 12 year old, huh? Either someone need a good old fashion butt whipping or she need to get a councelor involved.
Sounds like the 12 year old has some emotional problems and need some anger management before he goes too far or causes the 10 year old to go too far. Mom need to get on her J-O-B !!
Before she knows it they will be 14 and 16, then what? If this does get solved now, what can happen is unthinkable.
Because parents have not or do not believe in "spanking" their children, the children grow up and damn near beat the parents. Is she afraid of the 12 year old? How old are you? Can you get involved and put a little scare in him so he will at least leave the little brother alone?
Your mom should be trying to get to the bottom of the situation, not sittting around crying! What is she going to do when someone gets hurt or worse? It will be too late. Why is she leaving it up to them to settle?
Somebody (12 yr old), need her guidance, not her tears. I think I feel for the 10 year old because he has to fend for himself........mom left the building and went somewhere to CRY!!
Good luck to you and your family.

You never mentioned your dad, so I assume he is not in the picture for some reason or other. Mom needs to let your brothers know that SHE is the boss there. As for telling someone to "shut up". I hate that term!!! "Be quit" sounds to much better.
But mom does need to put a paddle on their little bottoms every time they act up and then put them in the corner for a time out!! She does this enough times and they will learn that this type of behavior will not be aloud any more.

They need more activates in brother hood. Have them go on a trip to the store to gather to get some thing for the family. My brothers use to fight and the other one broke the younger nose. Now they are more active, and they fight less.

I have brothers like that too. BUT THIER TWINS, they share the same room, and i think the youngest twin has an anger issue. My mom is taking him to see someone. um, so you should stay out of it though, you might get hurt, my brothers hurt me sometimes. Oh yeah their nine. My mom has one sleep in her bed and the other in his room, when they are sound asleep and my mom wants to go to bed she just walks him to bed, hope that helped, oh and i hope it wasnt to long ( sorry if it was)

Is there family counselling available to sort out the situation? Mom doesn't seem able to cope with it and the boys are still young.
Do something soon because when they become teenagers, it'll get WORSE.

LOVE is the word.. as an older sis/bro to your siblings talk with them separately. Brothers/sisters will not be fighting. Start PEACE at home. More power and God Bless. :-)

You should sit your brother down and explain to him the situation, tell him you need him to be a man to help the family that always helps boys behave.
