I have a fourteen yr old son who is very disrespectful and who is heading down the wrong path. I can't afford all those fancy academies. Does any one have any advice or have you ever heard of anything in Michigan that can help, besides counsiling?

There is a Teen Parenting Network near Lansinng. It doesnt cost very much, and if u look for it in a yellowbook or on the internet, im sure u'll find it.

There are places for free you just have to google it to see what is near you. Truly though, from a person who was probably like him at that age, cut him off from his friends and keep him busy. I think sending him away so young is going to just make him angry because most young people can't fully understand the reasons why.
