Ok...Why are most guys in charge of the relationships? Most girls end by gettin beaten, called names, or worse. I know this from my cousin dates a guy who does that to her. He threatened her life and now she can't get out of this really bad relationship. She can't even wear shorts, tanktops, and skirts. He's a real a**hole. Our whole family hates him and she can't do anything about it. We all tired to talk to her about her problem and she won't admit that he beats her and when she won't admit she says the marks are from her work or some other lie. What are your ideas about bad relationships and why are the guys always in charge?

My mom told my brothers and me that she wouldn't have had us if she could do it all over again. She didn't say it out of anger, just in conversation. We are all in our 20s now and my brothers were a little wild in their teens but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm trying to not let this hurt my feelings, but I just think it was a really hateful thing to say, especially since my real dad abandoned us when I was 5 and that already hurts. This isn't the first hurtful thing she has said by a long shot but maybe I'm being too sensitive.

Currently my brother is living with me and my family going on two months now. This past weekend I babysat for him and his wife both on Friday and Saturday night, overnight. Because of the time they get off work and get home, my sister-in-law stayed Friday night as well. Saturday I had her babysit for me as I had to work (only for 4 hours). After returning home I went into my bedroom and noticed my closet door was closed which I found odd. After they left for work I noticed my deodorant was missing and found it in the 2nd bathroom. It also appeared as though my sister-in-law used my shower. I was pissed and asked my brother about it. She denies using my shower but says she used the deodorant because she didn't have any of her things with her. Well, this morning as I'm getting ready for work, upon opening my jewlery box I notice my thick gold necklace is missing. My gut instinct tells me that my sister-in-law took it. I'm enraged. I already have a plan but suggestions would be nice.

Would you help him regardless, even if he threatened to expose your secret and ruin your life? Or would you let him suffer? He has done a lot of sh1tty things to you and even tried to blackmail you for drugs and money. Basically, a piece of crap he is.

Is he worth saving? Is your secret worth being exposed?

My mom's new husband adopted me as his own child, my birth certificate were changed to his name under father, and my social security was changed. Then I met my biological father and things didn't work out, I just talked to my grandmother , my biological fathers mom, and she is encouraging me to talk to him again. What should I do, she say it is tearing him and his girlfriend apart?

My wife and I have tried grounding from TV and Internet, having them pick up their messes. But it continues after the grounding has ended. I am wondering if it has something to do with my son's bi-polar condition and my daughters ADD. Any suggestions?

I am coming off of anti-depressants and feel like my little girl hates me. She is only 19 months old, but she acts older, She is SO happy when daddy gets home from work, but not me.

She will not listen to me, only my mom and her daddy. I just cry all the time because I feel awful when I have to yell at her or spank her. And she always seems to hit me and no one else. Otherwise she is a really good girl. It is just me she seems to hate. I do not know how to react to this. I love her so much, and I am getting afraid to even yell at her, because I want her to love me too.

I would appreciate some good advice.

What if your life seems good, but is not? I know I should be happy, because I have it better that most, but I did something to my sister that is onforgiveble, and I really wanne make it better again. I don't know where to start, she is the best sister in the word, and I wanne let her know that I really love her, but the mistake I made in the past, keeps haunting me! I hope someone can help me, I feel so damn powerless, and that is a feeling I really never knew I could feel! Help me please!!!!!

So my mom and dad are divorced, only like 3 yrs now or something and my mom has remarried. My stepdad and I have had our differances but he had to go back to England to renew his passport and the away time seem to have made a big change.. He wants to adopt my 15 yr old brother, and even know I am about to me 19 he wants to pay to have me adopted as well as pay to change our last names.. He wants to give us a life my dad never dreamed of, which is where I am so deadly lost.. Ive never really had a dad, I mean I do and hes always been around but hes a abusive druggy alcoholic asshole, he also has started coming back around claiming he wants to fix his relationship with my brother and I. I want to go threw with the adoption and the name change, but there is no way I can tell my dad, plus the rest of the family will give me hell and treat me terribly.. If I do go threw this, I absolutly am not even sure if my stepdad is ready for this..
