I have a seven year old son. Last night he asked me if God granted wishes. I told him no that is not what God did. He started crying a little and when I asked him why, he said because he didn't want to die. I told him that he was a little boy and he didn't have to worry about that for a long time and he said he knew, but that when it was his time to die he didn't want to. Do seven year olds worry about this kind of thing to the point of tears? He has seen a lot of death in the last couple of years, His great grandpa and his uncle, only 34 yrs old, and two of his great aunts real recently. Do you think that I should take him to talk to someone?

Dad3 and me had a midweek break to Bexhill cos he's always been interested in architecture on TV and wanted to see the De La Warr building designed by some German musician. So he's seen it and we've been in it and a had a cup of tea in it. But we fell out because I couldn't think of anything to say about it and he wanted to discuss it. So the next two days were silence. Isn't it enough that I went with him?

every adult are pretty much shuting doors in front of teens and young children, what does that send to us... all i wanted was for my voice to be heard then someone took that away *cough* texas1970 *cough*... just because i hate the president because he is hurting the enviroment and constantly doing stupid things... what do you ppl think? think long and hard about this.... teens can answer this too.

I went out with my boyfriends family the other day, I had a very good time, and I thought they enjoyed spending time with me as well. Then my boyfriend tells me that I offended his mother, by refusing to buy any thing other than the cheapest thing on the menu each time we went out to eat, and joking about how I always try to find the best deal, or cheapest thing on the menu or in the stores. He said this was disrespectful, I was raised that You never get any thing that cost more than you can spend, or more than what the person who is paying for the meal is getting! Is my logic wrong? Was I raised to believe wrong? Also while we were shopping, I would hold open the door for his mother and Aunts , he said that she felt that it seemed that I was trying to hard and that was like overkill, and made me seem fake, I was raised that You do that type of thing out of respect and kindness, I didn't mean to offened anyone. I feel I was in the right about all of this, but he says I need to change?

i'm from oklahoma originally. i grew up there and i love it!! im in hawaii right now. im here to help my aunt who had heart surgery. shes fine and im about to have to get a job and make an income. i dont mind working but i really dont want to be here. i came out here on a four day notice!! i miss my church and my family!! i havent been going to church and its killing me!!! i want to go back but how do i tell my aunt i want to leave?? she really wants me to stay but i wont be happy! im miserable already. ive been here since the 4th of July. i know enough to know that this will never be home. what do i do to keep the peace and be happy at the same time???????

My sister in law keeps coming over to my house without calling first and the last time she came over my husband was real sick and since it was so early in the morning I didnt get a chance to clean up first and I was in the middle of breastfeeding my baby.I never breastfeed in front of her especially when she was her kids with her so I went in the back room.
Well my husband yelled at her by asking why she didnt call first.She said that she called a few days ago and left messages for me but she was lieing.I think she just wanted to start trouble.My sister in law ended up leaving cause she got mad when my husband asked her why she didnt call first.She said she was just in the neighborhood and she decided to stop in. Now we haven't talked to her in a few weeks.This is my husbands sister.I feel like she no respect for my husband and I and does what she wants when she wants.how should I handle this? Should my husband and I apoligize?

my daughter is sucking her finger most of the time, we do our best to make her feel safe but with vain. we tried so many ways to get her our of this habit but all ways didn't work. Is this normal? will she stop it when she grow up? i am afraid it will affect her teeth too.

I am not in good terms with my dad, nor do I intend to have a close relationship with him. He, on the other hand, wants a close relationship with me--i'm guessing because of religious purposes or for the "image", since there was a long period of time that he didn't really care whether we were close or not. I developed an annoyance towards him because he tried to force me to be close to him. Now, he has stopped, and we hardly talk to each other. He can get violent and immature when things aren't going his way. For example, he had persisted on getting a ticket to come here on the 1st, but the airline said there was no available seat until the 9th/10th. I told him that, but he told us to force the flight agent to get him a seat for the 1st. I tried to talk to him about it not being available, but he remained stubborn. So, I eventually got annoyed and started using CAPITALS and EXCLAMATIONS!!! which made him so mad he now refuses to pay for my uni fees.
