How about asking the mother church for help? Usually there is a larger church who will help support the smaller ones until they can sustain on their own. Otherwise, how about fundraising, yard sales, dinners and so on, and then invest the profits wisely.

do a lemonade stand or a car wash if people know you are doing the lemonade stand for the church and not you more people will want to buy same with the car wash
