i guess it would be better to ask your parents why? just tell them you are open to what they have to say... then listen to their points! If you think their points are less important than what you feel for the guy, then follow your heart. Just be reminded that even the strongest man in the bible fall on his knees because he followed his heart. God was his adviser then, and to your situation your parents. Just think of this, your parents care for you so much, and in my suggestion if you really like the guy then find ways to make him close to your parents. In that way you will win both the heart of the guy and the respect of your parents. You can do it if you really care for both of them ( parents and the guy ).

I was going to say follow your heart, right until I read under 18...
You are so young, this is not true love, you dont even know what love is yet....Trust me when I tell you this, at this age you need to listen to your parents, they know you better....live your life and discover what it is you really want out of life, out of marriage, out of a life time partner, because what you want out of life now I garantee you it will not be what you will want in 10 years time....
If only i had listened to my parents before I rashed into marriage at 19 years of marriage, thinking I had the perfect man and the perfect marriage.....I am now trapped in a loveless, unhappy relationship with 2 kids and unable to escape due to my responsibillities...
Live your life dont settle for anything less then a mutual love of respect and companionship....

Difficult one.
I wud anyway follow what my heart says and I have done that.
Now its been 12 years that I made that decision.
Now, I am a father too and I can understand the situation of my parents. They were not wrong, its just they have to protect you from external world.

Go for your parents advice. They know what is best for you. And if the guy really loves you, he will wait for you until the time that your parents allows you to get acquainted with boy-girl relationships. Hope this helps!

FIRST OF ALL is he over your age? if he is now this is a big problem, lets see, if you are blinded by love and confusion, think logical reasons. WHO EXACTLY do YOU know best?
is this man even ready for you? remember looks decieving, and not all it seems like. Youre parents are obviously worried about their little girl,so its only natruall, but please i advice you enjoy your free life as you, your still got ways to go, the fun is up ahead not early.

I think you should listen to your parents until you turn 18. Then if this guy is still "the one" to you, go ahead with the relationship.

Both. Respect your parent's wishes, and if the person is truly in love with you, and you with them, you can wait. Time doesn't affect true love. Seriously. If both of you work on the qualities that will make you good matches for one another, and awesome individuals, it is time well spent and worth every second.

below 18 is very critical stage in your life that your parents are the best people you have to listen to. love comes natuarlly but i don't think what you feel now is love, forget abt it and get on with your studies in school. at the right time you will understand what love is and if he is the one meant for you, you guys will meet again. please listen to your parents.

sometimes parents have a sixth sense about the guy you are dating ...mostly because they have cared for all your life and want the best for you...so you have to listen to what they say even if it seems ridiculous or pushy because they are usually right...i sure wish now that I had listen to them more ...I could've saved myself a whole lotta heartache...good luck to you and just remember guys are like buses there is a new one coming every 20 minutes.
