but she does it in a way that isn't direct - so no one but me really notices. Her and her family are from europe and I'm an American - she belittles my ways of cooking, cleaning, caring for my home, even the way I do laundry. My husband doesn't see it and complains that I'm not close enough to his family or that I don't love them. I don't know what to do because I would like to be close with them but they make it impossible because of their actions, comments, and remarks.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 years. We are serious about each other and thinking about our future together. We're both about to start our last yr of college and would like to get married sometime after we graduate. My bf was dissatisfied his old job (which didn't supply sufficient hours/wages). Right about the time he was searching for a new one, my mom was looking for someone to fill a full-time managerial position under her and she offered it to him. Since this was a good opportunity for my bf to gain more work experience, learn more office skills, etc., AND the office is close to his college, he took the job. Lately our relationship has been suffering b/c my mom now complains about my bf 24/7. She doesn't say anything to him directly, but she tells ME that I need to "correct him." she expects me to bring up his flaws to him on the weekends when we go on dates. my aunt, who's been working longer than my mom, says my bf is doing fine. what do i do abt my mom?

Some of you may remember I told you about my son moving out a few weeks ago. He moved into a flat in Glasgow and I was worried sick because when he's done this in the past, he gets really down and drinks himself stupid. Well, it's happened tonight again. We had to get the police to get in and he was lying unconcious surrounded by urine and empty vodka bottles. He went mental and told everyone to get out and leave him alone. The abuse............... I'm home now and don't know what to do. I feel utterly useless and don't know what will become of him.

2 years ago my sister's youngest childs father lied and told her that we were involved and still is 2 this present time. However, I don't know the individual and has only seen this man 2 since then, (1 yr. ago)do to him visiting my nephew @ our home. Now, my sister says that this man has supposingly have come clean about our so call affair. (God give me a break!) Come on this man is playing head games with her and she has the family/friends looking @ me and now questioning my character, because she cry and says that the spirit has shown her that this is true and also, a couple of my friends were suppose to have told her that I confided in them that this is to be true. Unbelievable, I feel that this has gone on for too long. You know she has yet to come to me with any of this, she goes to our mother with the foolishness and this is literally really making her sick, to know that one of her daughters has animosity in her heart towards the other and this is not the way she has rasied us.

By the way, this aging parent is my mother in law, and while my husband and his mom agree it "will happen" some day, I really do feel she would be better served in a facility where she could get full time care. We both have two jobs and are forced to often leave her alone. She has been deemed unable to stay alone for long periods of time or able to self administer her drugs. I feel there are underlying reasons why the move has not taken place; ones that are apparent to me, but not to my husband or mother in law. By the way, I have the support of both our families that this move MUST be made for a myriad of reasons. Thank you for any and all input. I really appreciate it.

Im so upset. I had an argument with my cousin this morning. I'm 25 and divorced with 3 kids. I like to go out once in a while with friends. this weekend i went out because my birthday just passed. My mom watched my kids and she has to problem with me going out. Actally she like s that I go out once in a while to clear my head. Im a full time employee and student presuing my dream and I think I desrve to go out once in a while. Well my cousin (in front of a friend) started b****ing about me going out and leaving my kids with my mom. She's always one to speak when I go out. By the way I haven't gone out all summer. It was my first time in many weeks. Dont get me wrong, my cousin is very helpful and she helps me alot but she butts in all the time. Today was the first time I let all my anger know and I feel good. I dont want to be pushed around anymore.

I don't know if I'm adopted or not, and I want to find out. My parents obviously wont tell me. I know them, they would never tell me. So, is there any other way I could find out if I'm adopted or not? Besides the adoption certificate, because my father would kill me if I look through his stuff, where he keeps all his papers and all. So is there any other way I could find out? Please, I really need to know this! Please!!!!
