Gray happens. No matter what, wheter your young or old , you will eventually get to the gray zone.
Aceept it for what it is. No sense fighting it. Reality bites sometimes, i understand.

Same thing happened to me, starting at 18. I was also attending a tough university at the time and I attribute it to stress and/or malnutrition. I simply resolved that I'd rather have a full head of any color hair than no hair at all. I also use a quote from the Biblical Book of Wisdom quite a bit: The hoary head is a crown of silver that God gives as a reward for virtuous living.

Yes. Like Phil said, it is stress. If you've been through some hard time or currently going through one now, it's the stress that's getting to you. I have a little girl and I have 1 strand of gray hair now...
Also, it's herditary, so if your father or your father's father has had early graying, then you may have it as well. Hope this helped.

Sounds like me. I had the same problem. It's been slowing down but I had gray hair on top of my head since that age.

if your hair is black, you tend to get gray faster than someone with lighter hair (that, and it shows more) it also depends on genetics as well. look at your mom's dad, and see what was going on there. I had my first gray at about your age, and I am 28, and only have five gray hairs. hair dye is a great invention, too.

Some people get gray hair sooner than others, it is called genetics. Try buying some hair dye to dye it back to your original color if it bothers you so much. Or visit a hair salon and have it professionally done.

Some people just go gray early, look at Anderson Cooper, he's not old but he's completely gray. Ask your relatives if any of them experienced it.

Possible reasons are: Heredity.
Use of chemical applications for hair styling. If you are using them stop the same. Sometimes the greyingis only superficial and natural hair colour returns.
Best way to maintain your hair in its original colour is to use non chemical compositions like coconut oil, sesameoil etc.
