My brother just finished 6th grade. A few months ago he was "dating" a girl in his grade and our parents found out he was dating her... they turned around and made him break up with her and grounded him a bunch... it doesnt make sense to me because when they're so young all they do when they're dating is wave at each other at school and say hi and stuff... its not like they're gonna go off and have sex... besides they never would seen each other outside of school... anyways let me know what you think about this?

My boyfriend and I are wanting to start having children. He's 23 and I'm 20 going on 21 in October. He's working and going to college, and I'm going to be working and probably going into night school (colege) when I can. We are talking about having a baby when we both have stable jobs. We're both excited and can't wait to have a baby, but haven't started trying. Are we doing the right thing by waiting, or are we being selfish?

I havent spoke to my mom for about 9 months due to some probs with her husband and my husband, and i refuse to talk to her until she "grows up" it is quite a long story why the 2 husbands are not agreeing. but it has seperated me and my mom. well, there recently was a death in the family and she told my sister that she felt she should start talking to me again. what i feel is that it is a shame it has to take a death for her to realize that we need to start talking again. however, i turned it down cause i still have hurt inside of me and now is not the time to start talking to her again. I want to have a relationship with her but she still has hate towards my husband and i dont like that, should i start talking to her again? what should i do?

Sometimes my 17 mo. old daughter freaks out at the mall and i don't know if my husband and i are handling it the best way. sometimes i pretend to walk away, sometimes i spank her. When my husband is there he covers her mouth and i feel people staring at us.

I want her to learn that she can't do this and she has to respect mom and dad.

I just got a message that I should watch my language because there are children on this site. Shouldn't the parent be watching their child and not putting the responsiblity of what content they want their child to see in my hands?

For those of you with parent(s) and sibling(s), would you rather lose your mom, dad or your sister, brother if it came down to one decision in a hypothetical situation, no matter how difficult the choice was?

I know I don't ask conventional questions, because I really like discussing ethical and moral issues. The only questions I ever ask on this site deal mostly with ethics and values. So please don't think I'm an ****** or any less of me because of the questions I ask.

I've already thought about all these topics, and in the end, I'm just merely interested in how other people think.

I mean, how do you know you LOVE somebody? How do you know it's not just lust, or affection?

The boy next door is sixteen and my daughter is thirteen. There was an incident between the two that got them both into trouble. (If your wondering...she's still a virgin...thank god) He keeps sending her letters and text messages. Should we press stalking charges?

I love her dearly. I moved West she moved in with me, it wasn't long beofore I was supporting her and her boyfriend and dogs. After our lease was up I moved out and she moved back east with boyfriend. She has no respect for personal property, (ie she lets her dogs pee in peoples houses and makes huge messes and doesn't clean them up) And she gets mad if you confront her on anything. She feels she's owed severence for the bad stuff that happened when we where kids, all of us have talked about it and got everything out in the open long ago. I have moved on and healed and decided to live in the present not that past. My sister can't seem to do this. I also fear she is using drugs again. I have decided not to help her finacially anymore, since it only aids her doesn't help her. She is currently living in her car and got kickout from my moms for stealing. Im moving back east and know she will come to me. Am I turning my back on her by refusing to let her live with me or giving her $?

If you have an online relationship (i.e. cyber sex, or jerking off to porn), is it cheating?

If so, should I tell her?

I love my wife very much, and I want to have a long and happy marriage. But, sometimes, it seems like I can't help it. She's a great wife, and our sex life is amazing, but sometimes, I still do it.

my son's first bike was stolen this morning. He was pretty pissed off, but he should have locked it up. It's more or less a good lesson in responsibility for him. I lost 150.00 but still a good lesson learned. Hopefully!

I've never had this problem while growing up because We lived in a community where if you were caught stealing or lying you got you a$$ beat and then you had to go home and tell your parents what you did wrong and get your A$$ beat again.

I was just wondering what people do with the bikes after they take them. I was hoping for the input and the possibility of catching the little crackhead biotch that took it. Not that I have sinister plans for the little Focker, but it would be nice to see a smile on my kids face.

My adult daughter (21) still lives at home with us. She doesn't help out at all. Does abosoultly nothing around the house. But, makes every bar call, or house party with friends. I'd kick her out but she doesn't have a job. What do you think?

I don't really want to get involved because I know that can get messy, but it hurts me that they don't communicate. They have each confided in me and both have valid points, but they both are so stubborn. So far I haven't said anything to either of them, but I know they are both hurting. The younger one just had a baby and the older one hasn't even called her to congratulate her.

We bought our house 3 years ago. My husband and I have been married for 14 years, and have a12 yo girl, and a 10 yo boy. This was to be our dream home. The neighbors started out nice, but have turned into raving lunatics lately. Like there's something in the water. Cussin at our kids, and standing in the street talking about us and pointing fingers. It's nuts. I just want everyone to get along. These neighbors are all white. And although I don't necessarily think they're racist. I wonder if they realize how they are behaving, and that we would never act towards their children the way they've been acting towards ours. What are your thoughts?

I think her name was patricia, she lived in new york and came to california and stayed with a relative until she had a baby girl. Baby was born in July of 1967, LA County was the one handling adoption. Patricia has older sisters and 1 younger brother. I will give more details in an email if this sounds familiar to anyone.
