If you have an online relationship (i.e. cyber sex, or jerking off to porn), is it cheating?

If so, should I tell her?

I love my wife very much, and I want to have a long and happy marriage. But, sometimes, it seems like I can't help it. She's a great wife, and our sex life is amazing, but sometimes, I still do it.

If it's something you don't want her doing or something you wouldn't do if she were standing right next to you, then you probably shouldn't be doing it. How would you feel or react if you found out she was doing what you have described?

I'd just like to know how many of the people who have answered this question are married. I've been married for 13 years and dated my husband 3 years before that. This is a very gray area and no one can really say if you're cheating without knowing the emotional involvement of your online relationship. I would say too that there is absolutely no reason to tell her about it. It would only hurt her and drive a wedge between the two of you. Instead, focus on your marriage and continue to try to strengthen it and keep your internet activities to a minimum. Porn, in my opinion is a marriage buster so stay away and try to act out your fantasies with your wife. You never know, she may actually enjoy some new ideas in the bedroom!

Looking at porn and masturbating is not cheating. This is a natural part of life and all guys do it. It does not mean that you don't love your wife or that your sex life is boring. It is just something different to do that you enjoy. Just don't let it effect your relationship in an adverse way. Like drinking, do it in moderation and ENJOY!

Perhaps you & your wife don't have enough sex. Or you feel you don't have enough, but she may feel she has enough sex. I think if you had enough sex you wouldn't need to go online for sexual relief. Tell your wife how you feel, maybe she can have sex more frequently, or perhaps she can also masturbate you between relations. You two need to be frank & honest with each other.

Your wife should be happy to keep you satisfied and needs to know that she has you all to herself.

An online relationship is cheating. If you are honest with your wife and she can't keep you satisfied, then you are not sexually compatible. If sex is important to you then you need to decide if you need to leave her and marry someone else or stay with her and suffer in silence.

It's not adultery so she wouldn't be abe to divorce you on those grounds.

Porn can be addictive. There have been cases where people have gone off sex due to their addiction to porn!

You seem to feel that you are cheating on your wife so you should try to keep away from the sites as much as you can, if only for your own peace of mind.

You don't want to tell her because she will feel unwanted or undesired and HER selfesteem will go down bad. Jerking off to porn is OK but having sex chats and jerking off is VERY bad. Quit before she finds out. She trusts you so don't do her wrong. Personally if that was me, I would check everysingle thing you do online regularly(just to be sure) so be careful. GOOD LUCK!

Tell her. Or better involve her in it maybe she would enjoy checking out the porn too. Could lead to even better sex between the two of you.

"Jerking off" is not cheating, but talking to other woman online is. You do not have to tell her, just stop doing it.

Well, if it really bothers you, then tell her.
Hopefully you two are able to work anything out.

If she is pissed, then do everything in your power to make her feel like she is everything.

If she dosen't care, don't get carried away! Pay attention to her and her only!

^_^
