How do you know if you realy love somebody?

Is there a difference betwen love and attachment?
I mean, how do you know you LOVE somebody? How do you know it's not just lust, or affection?

Some say it's the combination of lust, affection and commitment.

People don't like the lust part so they go "When your heart tells you" or "You can't describe it"

Same goes to some people who say that love and crushes are different.

Hey, how the hell can you tell if you're in love if you can't describe it?!

If you really love someone then you should want to tell the whole world that you love (blank)... Scream it out your window, and, does it sound right? Can you tell that person? When he or she walks by does your heart leap? Do you want to always be around this person? If you answered yes to all these questions then you really love that special person!

I think what told me that I really love my bf was when I see his face light up when he sees me when he gets home.. or puts up with my goofiness and says stuff like "Good thing you're cute honey". Or tells me stuff that he doesn't tell anyone else and listens to me when I tell him stuff.
I guess feeling a true sense of partnership..

Honestly If you have to ask your not in love.
