Quit letting your 4 year old watch so much tv. Read books to her, watch movies. Play games, go to the park. Do what parents did in the fifties. Teach her to think and read and know her numbers. Cook with her, make cookies, have fun, talk, go for walks and bike rides, garden with her. Use your imagination and get her to use hers. Life is so much more than TV, stupid magazines and the internet.

You can control what you allow her/him to view. Turn off the TV and computer. A 4 year old shouldn't be controlling what they read or watch on TV.

Throw evey TV in your house out a window. Sit on the floor alot so you are playing with him and at his eye level. Your time is priceless in the investment of his life.

Stop exposing him to it. Give it about a month. He'll never know what he's missing, and the effect will fade.
