For those of you with parent(s) and sibling(s), would you rather lose your mom, dad or your sister, brother if it came down to one decision in a hypothetical situation, no matter how difficult the choice was?

I know I don't ask conventional questions, because I really like discussing ethical and moral issues. The only questions I ever ask on this site deal mostly with ethics and values. So please don't think I'm an ****** or any less of me because of the questions I ask.

I've already thought about all these topics, and in the end, I'm just merely interested in how other people think.

Iyamacog: Sorry for your lose. My sincerest apologies.

Now, did I force you to answer this question? Did you have a choice to ignore me?

If I had to choose between losing a parent or losing a sibling,I would rather lose a sibling.I love my parents dearly, and do not want anything to happen to them.Where as on the other hand,I am not very close with my siblings-and would rather lose a brother or sister-after all-I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters (not counting myself!).

Well I don't want to loose none, but lost brother not long ago, not by choice either. He died unexpectedly less than a year ago. And because I lost him, I almost lost my parents at the same time. It just about killed them to loose my brother.I now live with them so I can enjoy what time I have left with them

I've already lost my parents and a bro. That leaves a sister that I do NOTchoose to lose. Does that help your survey?

sounds like a twisted question to me. i have never thought about who i would rather lose. maybe you should talk to a psychiatrist....hypotheticaly speaking about weather contimplating this as a moral and ethical question is reasonable or not.

Personally, i would rather lose my siblings than my parents because my parents have always been there for me, and my siblings have not.

I really wouldn't want to lose anyone in my family but if I had to chose, I would chose my father because he is suck a d*ck, he's very very mean to everyone in the family.
