My sister is leaving to live in canada for a year. i act like i wont miss her but i know i will loads. what can i do to either pursade her not to go or to help me not to miss her?

My 2 daughters are unhappy with themselves and blame all their problems on me raising them by myself. Their dad left us for another woman. They are 44 and 45 yrs old. I made mistakes, I was a young mother. They never stop blaming me for everything that goes wrong in their lives!

There are many last names involved... how far up the ladder do you go? Would you name it after family members that are deceased?

My daughter is 121\2 yrs. old and no matter how i go about things she get very emotional and always says nobody cares about her or she wishes she was somewhere else i have tried a thousand ways she never thinks she is in the wrong and it is everyone elses fault. I cant talk to her at all at first i thought she was just PMSing but she still hasnt started so i dont know what to do.

He left us many years ago for another woman. Only that relationship didn't last. Now he's married to another woman. And I've always encouraged the kids to have a relationship with their father. Only it was always very strained ... to the point where he mentioned to someone once that his kids only call him at Christmas and birthdays for money. The kids never contacted him since. When he called me to ask why, I told him. He defended himself by saying that his statement was true. I responded with the fact that now he can longer make that statement anymore, and what was actually accomplished? He knows I always sent him photos as they were growing up. But he knew he made a mistake, and when I didn't want him back he decided to hurt me through our kids. I think it has back-fired on him. Only now the kids have grown and come to their own conclusions. Is there a way I can still make it right? Perhaps it's too late, but as a mother, I'll do anything to insure their emotional well-being.

My husband works for walmart and an opportunity has come up to go to smaller towns in Pa from Columbus, oh. We were hoping to get in a smaller town that would be more affordable with good schools in the general area of Harrisburg, pa. Does anyone have any advice on areas of Harrisburg and finding apartments that are reasonable and clean? The area we live in now in Columbus has alot of drugs and we are very tired of it since we have small children. Alot of the apartment guide websites have only the high priced stuff. Any advice?

I have a couple of teenagers and for the most part everything has been extrememly good for us. My problem is that I have a hard time communicating with my youngest (daughter, 14). We just don't seem to "click". I have a really good rapport with the others, but my baby is just withdrawn, quiet, sort of in a world of her own. I make a strong effort to connect with her but I feel as though she pushes me out, and I don't know why. I pick her up from school / drop her off, I try to communicate but she makes it really hard, doesn't open up to me.

THe others are involved in everything... but the baby is just very introverted.

What am I doing wrong? How can I get her to come out of her shell. I want to be closer to her. Any ideas?

the other night my dad yelled at me cuz he started to tell me that he wanted the house to be clean when the rest of my family go on vacation leaving me and my cousin and my friend the house to ourselves. i was walking and he said"listen to me!" i yelled back that i was! and then he started to yell at me and said **** you and called me a lazy *****(even though my cuzin and my friend live with us and i am the only one with a full time good paying job)... and now he isnt talking to me and wants me to appologize. i dont want to or think i should have to. what should i do? he used to be my best friend now he and i are like nothing.

my cousin is having suiside thoughts and i already had a cousin commit suisde and she died and it still hurts because we were kinda close and so are me and cousin and the problem is she lives so far away and i talk to her everyday and her parents don't know and i swore i wouldn't tell i don't know what to do and i only get to see her on family occasions and i don't know what i would do if another family member commited suiside so far their have been 2 my grandfather and my other cousin so if one more were to happen i don't know what i would do please help me if you can God bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's wrong with my hubbie? My hubbie's relatives came in this weekend and brought their kids, his nephews. I have a strange feeling that he has a little crush on his niece. He said, she reminds him of me. But not excalty a crush, he just likes everything she says and does. I know I'm a girl and I tend to get a bit jealous when another girl is around, you know the usual thing girls do. But, Hello?...He has been nicer to her lately and just ignored me. They talk like I don't even exist? Like I'm not there. When I say something, nobody cares. Nobody listens. For example: this weekend we all went to see a movie, or anytime we all go out to do something, he does everything to make her comfortable and at home, while I'm pushed to the side. She's pissing me off! And he is as well!

My fiance's little sister (19yo) wants to have a baby with her boyfriend (that she's been seeing for 3 weeks). i need you to help me talk her out of it. she's a baby herself and i know for a fact she cannot bring up a child. she wants to have a "baby", just like she wants to have a "new toy". i know her she will not stick it out for the life of this baby, she will get sick of it after a few months or after it stops being a "baby", just like she got sick of her dog after it stopped being a "puppy" now she doesn't feed or walk her dog her mum looks after it. and to make it worse her mum is all for the idea of her having a baby at 18 wth a guy she barely knows and getting married. how does she know she's in love with this guy? her longest relationship has been 2 months! she said she loved her last boyfriend and he ended up cheating on her. if you're thinking why am i making this my business its because she will be my sister in law soon and i WILL be involved wth all the dramas of her

I know , you may think I'm a bad gal. But I do hate my mom and brother.HE is always making life difficult for me and she supports him no matter who is responsible for the problems.
