I was in the same position as you were. Parents normally take sides of the younger sister because she is younger and don't know as much as you do. You are the older child and they expect you to be more mature and give in to her sometimes. That is very unfair. You really can't do much to change your parent's thought. Whenever she want to change, she will change.

How much younger is your sister?
Try talking to your mom and tell her that she always takes your sisters side and the whole situation. It might help a little.

I grew up like this I don't think there is much helpping if you try to talk your mom she will say your jelious or wrong so...just hand in there until your old enough to move out and vow never to do that to your children( this is the reason I've only got one child, and don't want anymore!!!)

Your younger sibling does not know any better yet. Your mother should not always choose her word against yours if you are right. Talk to your mom and tell her how you feel when sh does at to you. She should correct your sister's behavior instead of rewarding her for it.

well stay away from your sister and do your own thing so when something goes down all she can see is her doing the wrong... I know how it feels when I was young it was like that for me so I learned to stay to myself and get active so you are hardly home... good luck sorry you have to feel like this

i have the same problem as u,i think all of elder brothers or sisters have the same problem with their parents,u should be patient and ask God to help u bcs in this case even president of US cannot be any help lol

hi iam sage jest let be do not get angry alwayse it is oky. it will make you feel better then before and you mom mit under stand. And it also could be that you mom is trying to be good to your small sister.

this is a problm with every elder having a younger sis or bro........but u can resolve it by talking to ur parents freely or have a chat with one of ur close uncle or aunt so that they can express ur feeling to ur parents....and i hope u will get rid of this problm as this is not done by ur mom intentionally.......if u get rid then let me know
