35, I haven't had a hug or been told "I love you" from anyone since her passing(other than my kids) is it normal to just WANT a hug because I feel unloved?

what should i do about my sister? she is always trying to steal my thunder when i achieve something. for example, when i finished uni, she decided she'd go to uni and do the exact same course. i planned an overseas trip earlier in the year, and now she's gone ahead and has planned the same sort of trip at the same time. she heard i was getting engaged, so asked her b/f to marry her so she could be engaged at the same time. it's starting to freak me out, what the hell should i do??

My little sister died today. she was 20lbs, and 2 years old. She had this syndrome called CDLS(cornelia de lang syndrome)., which caused her to suffer medical difficulties, delay in growth, and feeding issues. She was suppose to turn 3 this year. Her type of sickness was mutated genetics and her situation made it so she would need Home Healthcare nurses to take care of her when my parents are at work. Over her life, the sickness worsened. Lately she had been through a few seizures, lots of meds & doctors, and lots of miles on the car to different hospitals. So now that she is gone, I was sick earlier, pacing for an answer to her situation, then after the news, I was furious at God at the hospital, and now I'm quite calm and knows that where she is, is the best place. My mom has come around a little but my dad is miserable and quiet. Because I know she lived a good, yet difficult life, and was loved by many. But I was wondering if my behavior is exceptional?

I don't usually get them anything for their anniversary, but this is a special one and I would like to get them something nice.

The catch is that I am in Thailand for an internship (that they are funding...), and can only get them things that I can order online or by phone.

Any good ideas are welcome. I can't buy them a vacation or a cruise, so please make sure your suggestions are do-able for under like $75.

Ok, I'm an 18 year old female and next summer I'll be moving to Rome ( by myself) for a year to study and to work. I've researched the crime rates and found that they are very low and the only thing to really worry about is pick pockets. I told my mother all of this but she is still terrified I'll be stolen or something. I've tried to assure her that I'm going to use my common sense and not go out at night by myself, not get into cars with strange men, stay away from deserted ally ways, and that I'm going to stay in a crowd so it'll be less likely I'll get abducted but she's still paranoid. Any advice on what to say to her so she won't be pulling out her hair the whole time I'm gone?

I'm was an A/B student, really confident and a star athlete. This past year in high school, junior year, i became enclosed, depressed and my grades started failing. My parents never seemed to notice that i wasn't happpy, that i started hating softball and started hating high school. i started to never leave the house and started to give up on life.I guess what started to really bring me down was how i could cover up my miserable life and my parents just assumed everything was fine. I tried to tell my dad once and he seemed to care for a couple of days and then he just blew it off and hasn't mentioned it since, that was almost 4 months ago. how do i deal with this?

For almost 2 years now, my dad expects me to do five loads of laundry a day, fill up the dish washer three times a day, and make all of the beds in the house. My mom is here with me and all my she ever does is watch TV or sleep. My twin brother just plays video games and yells at me. My dad says that it is my job to do the house chores. Personally, I want my hopefully-one day marriage to be where the woman does not have to do everything. We are not religious at all, in fact my dad is an Athiest. Truthfully, I am a bit scared of him if I stand up to him, because he is 6'3 and around 250 lbs. I am just a 14 years old girl with a terrible social life who sometimes thinks about suicide. How can I deal with my present situation?

I am living in a very small house a 3 X 15 metres one and the half floor shelter. We have one baby sitter,two 3 years old kids and my wife and i. Two bedrooms(one for b.s. and one for me,my wife and my kids). Financially medium income below. Can't afford to pay cash for bigger house unless going for installment(monthly payment)

Should i move? to a bigger house and work extra hard or just let it be.

I have never used those three little words before....But Now that I THINK i feel it i have no clue how to say it to him. I have always told him that i would never love anyone and that I never wanted to hear those from from anyone!.....So he has held back alot from expressing his feelings towards me.....He has hinted that feeling alot but he won't say it and im glad he doesnt.
