I get angry and frustrated now much more than I did before my mom died. I have no patience and everything gets to me. I don't know what to do. I know that it upsets the people who care about me to see this behavior, but I don't know how to handle all my anger. How can I work through this and calm down when I am all worked up. I am already in a support group for people who've lost a parent. I just want some strategies for calming myself when I get angry and frustrated.

My daughter is 17 years old and is dating a very nice 23 year old guy. I know that they have not had sex and he treats her very well. I know I am very lenient about even letting her date him but she is very ingrateful, disrespectful, wants to spend all her waking seconds with him and mopes around all day on the rare days she does not see him. Then she throws it in my face "Didn't you want to spend all your time with Melvin (my husband) before you got married?" She has a 11 oclock curfew during the summer and has trouble meeting that curfew at times. Am I wrong to let her see him and have so much freedom? Is the curfew too late/too early? Any advice?

Does Florida have you grandchildren in foster care,and were you told you have no rights as a grandparent?
My brother's kids were taken because of abuse and my mom and dad want to gain custody , but Florida says they have no rights? What should they do? Other than hire a lawyer? They are in Cincinnati,and the children are in Daytona Beach, Fl.The children have been in foster care for 18 months now.If you need more details...please ask.

hi, my uncle passed away in the early hours of sunday after having a stroke a week ago... i want to send a nice poem or verse in a card to my aunt... something that tells how much he will be missed by all but to also cheer her up in a sad kind of way (If that makes sense). his name is steven,

My gf is always complaining about her family dumping on her (looking after the house, younger siblings etc) and they do but she won't stand up to them and isn't ready to move out so should I keep telling her she's right to complain or should I tell her just to make the best of it? Always thinking she's being dumped on might make her unhappy, no? Then again so might being a doormat :|

i know i sound like a "mindless teenager trying to get freedom." but its not like that. i live with my stepdad and mom. he doesnt treat me the way he should at all. hes always threating to "beat the sh*t out of me." and that i'll "never be anything in life." i think i would be better off emancipated. i have a job, and i have good grades in school. i have goals set in life and i dont think living with him would help me accomplish any of them. please help me somehow and give me some advice on what to do. because i know i cant go through with this any longer. please help me.

My parents and I are never on the same page. My pops & I get along. But my mother has issues. She is a control freak who still hits me, watches my every move and doesn't let me go out or have friends. I want to move out so very badly. Accept I know they will be upset, and its not like I can tell them its for college, cause my parents move cross country to live where I went to college and it is a disaster. What do I do? Do I feel guilty that by moving out I'm hurting them and stay cause they are my parents or do I move out and finally have place of peace to lay head? I don't know what to do. What would you guys do?
