im female and i get along with both my parents really well but the one i turn to for advice is my mom...i guess because the girl to girl talks wouldn't work with my dad since he's not female! i think there's just stuff on my mind that my dad wouldn't understand, my mom on the other hand has been through it all.

I'm female and I get along better with my dad because we like a lot of the same things and he has more of the same sense of humour I do. My mom is very close minded and takes herself far to seriously and try's to analyze everything which makes her appear stupid. She is also very controling and trys to control everyone and everything around her which leads us to fight all the time.

My Mom she's my best friend even when she doesn't agree with my choices she still supports me and wants me to be happy. She raised 7 of us by herself without welfare and taught us how to be individuals and stand up for what we believe no matter what

I'm female, and get along much better with my father than with my mother. I assume this is because my father has never tried to kill me.

my mom, I am male, my dad is dead so its been hard to communicate with him. I keep talking to him but he never answers me. So definitely get along better with my mom.
