True. Work is just one portion of your life and not your whole life. Your whole personality cannot be described by your work alone.

not so true what you choose to do is an expression of who you are, your likes and dislikes your persona etc, like a doctor is a doctor is a doctor but we all have really 2 personas within ourselves and need to bring a balance to both if we constantly put more energy into one more than the other we begin to become OFF balance and certain facets or areas that support the other tend to break down like relationship, self time, etc get it ! even if one doesnt bring in the monies each persona is just as important.

I can be true only when the work is the mistake you have done. If the work is done by you and it is not a mistake that you have done then it really describes you, and that work is actually denoting the way you are.

It could be who you are if you're in your ideal job and doing what you love, but for most people it's just a job, nothing more. I'm sure a garbage person isn't garbage for hauling other people's trash away, but it's just a good paying job with no responsibilities.
Then there's Bill Gates who's the richest nerd in the world and is a nerd in real life... so he is what his job is...

False, work can describe who you are. The way you work shows your beliefs and values.

True! You were a person before you entered the workforce! Unless you are a professional athlete, or a doctor, or similiar professional.

true, but I believe that a person's character is defined by his/her beliefs and actions...if the trade requires immoral actions to be carried out and the person is willing to do it...then, that person is immoral because he/she has the option of quitting but remains a part of the trade. Basically, work doesn't define a person, its the person's mentality, and deeds.
