dnt listen to GC_RiotGrl_879. no offence to her but working out the same muscle everyday is no good b/c when working out u rip tiny microscopic holes in ur muscles so doing the same workout everyday will leave no room for the muscle to develop. the average body takes about 48 hrs to repair the tiny rips in the muscle. everybody has a six pack its just that its covered by fat. in order to see ur abs since ur a female u need to get ur body fat % down to 14% in order to see them. if u want ripped abs then u need to do excercises for ur abs and when doing so u need to break down the workout into sections. there are 3 sections in the abdominal regin. upper, middle, and lower. if u want perfect abs i would also suggest working out the obliques.

how long have you been doing this? It can take a while, there is no quick way to lose fat, nor can you spot reduce. In your aerobics class if you work really really hard, it will help. But aerobics alone won't do much for you. Lifting weights will help build muscle (lifting for all body parts - someone at a gym can show you what to do ) and muscle requires more energy just to exist, more than fat requires, so it boosts your metabolism right there. Eating small meals all day, no big meals, will boost metabolism also. There are lots of websites out there about this stuff. The more you read, the more stuff you'll see repeated, and it's the repeated information that you can figure is mostly right. There is no exact science to this, it's all individual, and what works for one won't always work for you. Look up "Body for Life" by Bill Phillips. There is a version specifically for women out now too.

A person can lose weight, work out and all that, but you can't always lose it the place you want to lose it. I weighed 90 pounds and skinny all over but still had a poochy out tummy. Have you tried to constantly hold you stomach muscles in? Anyway, I've been researching this myself and they say that you simply have to have surgery in some areas to get rid of it and it is usually the stomach area. So, I decided to do the best with what I have and I won't have surgery because of all the complications it could cause.

Lay on your back and lift your legs straight up in the air. Keep them straight and lower them until they are about 3" off the floor. Don't let them touch the floor!!! Repeat.
Start doing 10 of these a night. When that gets too easy, increase it by 5.
