I swear alot and my mom dosen't like it I love my mom a lot we're like best friends cuz my family is just me and her so I want to stop swearing for her and I've tried but I can't and the person who I hung out with that got me to swear dosen't swear anymore.
How can I stop swearing???

wear a ruberband on ur wrist, and everytime u swear, snap urself. i had that problem with my mother too. also my mother made me give her a dollar every time i swore. try it, u get sick of losing money, and snapin urself.

First of all you need to be aware what makes you swear. Why do you do it? Why did you start doing it? To look cool? To fit in? Once you have pin pointed why you do it, it will become easier to stop. Also to help you, think about how you are upseting your mom when you do it. You could also try having your mom set up a jar and whenever you swear you have to put in a dollor or 25 cents or somthing. Your mom could decied what to do with the money..she can keep it or put it toward somthing for the house...you guys can thinkg of somthing......just some ideas

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!i can't stop swearing but just think about this pretend u cant even say the word say something else for example a** say butt.

Tell your mom (or others) to pinch you everytime you swear.

Try using milder words in their place. For example "heck" and "darn." Good luck!
