I'd say about 9 pm if she's coming from someplace supervised (like a friend's house) 7-8 if she's coming home from the mall or the movies.

Where would a 12 old girl go to need a curfew? If you went to a 7pm movie it would be over about 9 so you should be home by 9:30 which is how long it would take me to come and get you and bring you home. Nothing later than that unless you were with me, the parent.

I didn't know they suppose to be a curfew for a 12 year old.
I didn't know there are places 12 year old girls should go by themselves other than the bathroom.
I personally believe that 12 years old is an age way to young to not be under supervision by an adult.

At 12 I wasn't allowed to go out without a parent. I was 16 before I was able to do that and I had to be home at 10 pm and it had to be someone my parents knew.
My daughter never goes anywhere....
But I guess if I had too I'd say 7 pm 8 pm
Unless it's something like a school dance or something at a Church that would be different.
☺

WHen the street lights pop on my 10 and 11 year old better be in the house. 12 and with friends maybe a little later. Just depends on where they are. If they are at the movies or a group function I would say little later. Just make sure you know where she is at all times. Get her a cell phone only to carry with her when she is away from you.

Yikes to go out without parents or chapperone parents? Um, she's 12! Right after school. If she wants to hang out at the mall there are a lot of predators there ....movies? Parents must go, sounds old fashioned but then you don't want to be called Grandpa early do YOU? Not that your girl is this way, but friends can sway!

No curfew at all. It is the parent's fault if they let their kids out for no reason late at night, unless the kid secretly ran away from home.

Depends on if the reason you're asking is to control her social life or to make sure she sleeps enough. She should be getting 8-10 hours of sleep still. So work backwards from the time she has to wake up.

I'd say 8:30 to 9 pm, but it can be extended in case of special occasions or emergencies so that your kids would know that you're strict and yet understanding.
