My daughter is turning 12 years old and she's having a birthday in July. She does not like stuff like barbie, dancing, and she is not allowed to have a sleepover.

For some reason my family forgot all about my b day. I'm 38 so it really isn't a big deal, but even my mom and daughter forgot. I'm feeling a little put out by the whole thing. It is a good thing that I don't normally celebrate it.

Last weekend we had a family emergency w/my family not in laws. My BIL came out took my son for the weekend I thought how sweet I said sure He would never let anything happen to him. So this weekend comes and I get home from work last night and my hubby said our son was at my MIL and FIL's I thought no big deal. I got up this AM around 830 and I have called there many times and can not reach anyone Please understand they would not let harm to come to him either. I can not drive over there my husband has taken the car he will not be car for 2 hours. I am not being parinoid But I can tell my MIL is keeping my son from me. She does not like me at all. She thought it was ok when my BIL gf told me that she would spank my son when he said "no" to the GF. She thinks that he shouldnot be in school but my son loves it I can not take that away from him. I do not want to keep my son from my in laws but she will not listen when I try and talk to her abt.

My father has been well anything but that. He and I have meet up just before my weeding 6 years ago and made peace with each other. He has off and on tried to be a bigger and better part of my life. Sense having my son he lacks greatly in the gpa area. He is great with all the other kids but hardly sees, or does anything for my son. Now because I know this man has hurt me, and I know who he is, I have talked to him over and over and told him he will not hurt my son, and if I see he is I will end the relationship. My dad seems to have no interest in my son what so ever, doesn’t even come on birthday anymore, is it wrong for me to pull my son completely away at his young age so he don’t remember? I fear letting this go one my son might feel less than because of the other grandkids.

i had a fight w/ my mom the other day, and we just made up yesterday- also the day my best friend got dumped, so ive been comforting her too. well during our fight I was an idiot and totally forgot tht my moms b-day is TODAY! I have a tight family. But my sister is very busy in life. I am younger then her and married w no kids yet. She has 2 kids and a very high paying job. But everytime i want to see her or the kids, she acts as if im an incovinience. She even says so She hasnt been over my house ever! She says she too busy. i e mailed her and told her this and she got offended. What do i do now?

My daughter has been liking this boy for a few months(she graduated from HS last night).He fooled around with her BF and she found out from a 3rd party, plus tried to "get with" a 14 yr old. The friend at first denied it, but the boy admited to it.Most of her friends don't like him.She and the BF are no longer speaking.But she says her and the boy are "just friends" now.My daughter is planning on going into the Air Force to be a pharmacist, and is a literacy genus.He has a 4th grade reading level and would not have passed English without her help.He plans to stay in town and be a mechanic.Not that there is anything wrong with that, he just is not going to persue anything else.He did graduate last night too, when he walked across the stage someone yelled out "It's about time!" I am a parent that wants the best for my daughter and I think that he has been around the block more than once.I don't disapprove of her dating, just not this guy.What do I do to get her to quit liking him. HELP

my husband attends 3-4 meetinmgs a week, I feel it is too much and feel that he has put his meetings ahead of his family. He really was not a heavy drinker, would stop after work at the bar and drive home. Did not drink at home and would go weeks without drinking at all. Also spends weekends driving those around who,ve lost their licences. Isn't that TOO much?

i was laid off last month on the 21st and i signed up on unemployment and i called it in on the 6th of this month (june) and i have yet to see it come in the mail. We don't have any income right now and we well really me (my wife asked the other ?) but this is about me. I worked in the coalmines and got laid off. We have always made it on our on since we were 18 years old and have raised our son without putting him off on anyone. We are the type of people that do not ask anyone for anything but we are in a tight spot and it hurts my ego that we will have to ask to borrow money. My wife asked nicely what did you all think and you all were rude to her. She is a stay at home mom. I am the main provider (that is how it should be). Do you understand how hard it is to ask anyone for help? Since we both were 18 we only asked once for a small loan of not even a hunderd dollars and we paid it back the very next day. What we are saying is what can we say to borrow money ???

i do not have a peeny to my name until i get my unemployment in the mail. How can i ask my mom for money. She knows that we have no MONEY because there is no income coming in right now. I know i can't expect people to help but i haven't asked anyone for help. I always pay back what i owe anyone when i get the money so what can i say to get her to loan me some money?

(It is just hard for me to ask her for money)

im 18 right now, im going to college soon and im going to be a game designer, im considering adoption, i cant have one until i get my career stared i know but i was just thinking about it, i always wanted a japanesse kid, they are just too darn cute, yeah? well, i was wondering if i would actually have to go to japan of if they have any adoption places in california where they have japanese kids, the procedure of it what do you have to do ect. this wont happen for acouple years but im just thinking in advance.
