i do not have a peeny to my name until i get my unemployment in the mail. How can i ask my mom for money. She knows that we have no MONEY because there is no income coming in right now. I know i can't expect people to help but i haven't asked anyone for help. I always pay back what i owe anyone when i get the money so what can i say to get her to loan me some money?

(It is just hard for me to ask her for money)

im just like you, i can have a negative acoount balance and still find t hard to ask my parents for money who are always willing to help and i recently had to do it becuase i just got a new job and was going 3 wekks without a check and my rent was due and i emailed my mum and said "mum i really hate asking this becuase i know you dont have much money but i reallly need some help, as you know i got a new job and im about to go 3 weeks without a paycheck and i have bills coming up. id appreciate anything you can give. thanks love ya" and that was it so i would keep it sincere, say you really hate asking for money but you need to borrow some until your check comes and tell her you will definitly pay it back, you are just going through a tough time and need some help and thank her for anything she can spot you. good luck :)

Some people aren't reading the question, she has a check coming in from unemployment, and she needs money now. If she found a job and started working, it could be two weeks until she gets a paycheck, so finding a job won't help her immediate situation.....I would just ask in a polite, yet simple way. Just say, Mom I am looking for work, I have an unemployment check coming, but it won't be here for a while. Is there anyway I could borrow some money in the meantime? I will pay you back when I can. Good luck!

You should just try and bring the subject up gradually. And if you see it is never going to happen just say: "I am in a tough time right now. Do you think that maybe you could help me a little? I promise i will pay you back." And that is one way to put it. There are many other ways, you just have to think about them.

Grovel and beg. It's usually what I do. Most of the time it works if you can get the grovelling down and maybe throw in a touch of whine and desperate panic. This usually works but some times you get a hard-nosed wench that just loves watching you crawl and slobber at their feet.

You can't budget with your unemployment money so you don't deserve to get money from anyone else. Get a job and a bit of self respect, you can do it!! Go without until your next payment, I have had to do it, and I've got a job.

why to beg for any help, god helps those who help themselves,so just enter into the market for labour and earn the required penny, shed all shame, since begging is sin.
