I never actually dated MSSs, because I made a choice at a pretty young age not to do that. But I can tell you this: while a same-sex attraction usually will not disappear if it is more than a passing phase of one's teenage years, it is often possible to acquire the ability to be attracted to MOSs, on one condition:
The person has to really believe that this is the right thing for them. It has to tie into their deepest values, arise out of their relationship with God. So until the faith aspect is taken care of, the issue is much more serious than merely the gender of the people they date.
Obviously if God is calling them to be single, He may very well not give the person the ability to be attracted to an MOS, because it is just not needed. And that faith commitment I talk about above does in fact involve accepting this and allowing God to be one's all, focusing on glorifying and giving thanks to Him (cf. Romans 1:21).
That having been said, thousands of people have made 'the big move' in their lives, I give a link below where you can find, among other things, testimonies of such people. I haven't looked at the links because there's just too many of them, so I leave it to you to find what is good and leave the rest.

Most of the time it is merely an experimental phase and does not last more than a year or two. If it continues longer than that, chances are it will be with them for life.

When I was 17 to 18 I dated a girl and I even came out to my family yet I now date only men so it could be a phase but I would learn to accept your sister for who she is now and not for who you think she might become....

What is wrong with it... She likes what she likes... Let her live her life... Just because you are a homophobe, doesn't mean she can't do as she pleases...
Maybe she is a lesbian or maybe she is bisexual, but either way, GROW UP and stop being so judgemental!!

You should say BI-Curious people. If your gay or lesbian it is for life, so you wouldn`t find a FORMER one. But just try to accept her for who she is. It`s not hurting you.
