I would throw em out and send the rest of the family out to give them a good talking to by throwing a wobbly and saying that the party was for thier benefit. Say that you only had the party to help the rest of the family warm to them because they really are not liked.that should shut the ignorant pig up.good luck my friend,they want to be grateful that you asked them.

Just say that you only had the party cos no-one liked them & that you felt sorry for them and did this party so maybe they would like that family member rather than just laughing at her behind her back

I'd tell them that if it was so crap, to get out! If they didnt get out, and refused to leave; i would retaliate by saying that the party obviousley wasnt as crap as they said it was as they were still there! Then i'd ask for an apology.
Either that or just plain ignorance...ignore them! and dont invite them again!

tell them politely (so you dont look childish and bothered) "everyone is entitled to thier opinion"
then walk away and have the time of your life.
The later if they stayed calmly say "i thought you wanted to leave"
back them into that corner but NEVER break a sweat doing it. you just end looking childish and they know they have got to you.
If you want to know what to do now the party is over and they have already made you feel stupid just get on with your life dont let other people bring you down, and if they keep going on about just say "arnt you past that yet. grow up and move on".
Dont EVER let them get to you.
