Ties are very difficult to store through traditional means because of the fact that they need to be within your reach after waking up every morning. One common problem that many people face is simply not being able to remember what ties would go best with a specific choice of shirt. You can also visit: is.gd/1aDs8S

Any type of travel gift would be nice! How about a travel case to hold his toiletries, or a nice carry on bag. You could also get him some nice tie tacks to go with all his ties!
Any travel guide books would be nice too! Maybe you could put a picture of you in the bag so he would always have it with him!

not really travel but bond with him. go out on a fishing trip or something... talk about what's going on with your lives so far.
and as a gift, you can give him a book about travel destinations, or a subscription to travel magazines, so he can pick out vacation spots that he can travel to in the future.
that's very nice of you to think of what to give your father... i've asked my father a bunch of times what he needs and what he wants, he would always tell me "just a picture of you" (he lives back home in our country). i bet fathers don't want anything from their children but love.
