This friend is of the opposite sex (not and x just old friend) and spoke badly of my wife in front of me and my family memebers.... what would you do in that situation? My wife feels it is my place to speak up and take up for her what do you think? Should I have just laughed it off like I did or should I have called her out on it?

I am 20 years old and I'll be 21 in April i am currently in a relationship with my high school sweetheart he's the same age as i am. But things aren't going that well. I've been thinking about older men lately especially one of my high school teachers i believe he was 40 something when i was in high school. I often think about me and the teacher having sex i wish i could some how get in contact with him or email address. But i can't i only know his first and last name. My boyfriend doesn't know i feel this way i haven't told him. I think about other older men too like if I'm at a store and i see some old man. Now I'm not attracted to any of my family members so I'm not interested in incest. And when i say older men i mean men 50 and up i don't know why i feel this way i fantasize about being trapped with some old man in a room and other sexual things. when ever we work together he seems keen to hear about my day or week. always interested in my hobbies... compliments me even when i do a terrible job at something,stares inot my eyes.. never puts me down, or talks about his gf unless i ask. and says he is unhappy, and barely sees her..
He is always happy to see me, and is sad when i leave, whenever we serve custemors he always stands a little too close, he laughs at my jokes even though they arent that funny.., he gets nervous around me.
He plays love songs whenever im around... and when there are other girls in the room.. he seems to give me more attention.
I have really liked him longer than he has known his gf
Is he just using me for an ego boost, or do you think he generally has feelings for me???

I always try and keep my distance, and try not to flirt with him... as i never want to be 'the other girl' and i figure if i did .. he would loose respect for me , and i know it is wrong.

i think i have the best children in the world...
i have 4 teenagers and i am only 35 and they are 12-14-15-16 andmight i add 3 gurls and 1 one boy.They are my whole world.not one of them do drugs,tere`s no girlfriend and boyfriend yet,they hate there school but love school in general.i have my oldest graduate from highschool this june2008.we are so close .i love hanging out and chatting sometimes you can actually have real conversations with them.not your typical teens.and touch wood cause i know you are probably saying thats just luck.having 4 teens and all. but i do have to say i do call them gods gift.they keep me grounded.we are a very cose family.i love my kids they are the best in the world.

One of my brothers is due to get married next July. We have always had a very rocky relationship, but since he met her we've spoken maybe 3-4 times (in about 5-6 years!). I cannot stand her and she physically repulses me. She has created an even deeper split between us. Attending a wedding is supposed to be about supporting the couple and celebrating their love...but I can't and I don't. I'm from a big family and I am expected to go, but I just can't bring myself to even THINK of attending. I need some constructive advice, please!!....

I was supposed to go to a Halloween party today with a few friends. I called my friend an hour before the party to see when she was picking me up; She didn't answer the phone and I couldn't leave a message because my dad was waiting for my mom to call. So, I called again a half hour later and still she didn't answer. Then I called at seven, thirty minutes before the party started. But she didn't answer, again. She enver came by to pick me up either. I would have asked my dad to drop me off but he had left to pick my mom up from the airport. She could have forgotten but we had talked about it a few times yesterday and she's never forgotten before. I feel like maybe she didn't want me to go, but I was invited and she even said, before I could ask, that she would give me a ride.

I don't know whether to be mad or just forget that it happened? Am I over reacting about this whole thing?

My friend got kind of mad at me (I don't see why he's mad though; he's really overreacting about nothing) and he told me that he wasn't even going to read my e-mails, he was just going to delete them. At first I thought he was joking because he got mad over nothing that was worth being mad about, but he really isn't replying to my e-mails. I don't have any other ways to talk to him, and I like him a lot, and I really want to talk to him again. I can't say sorry for something that I don't feel sorry for, and even if I did, he would just delete the e-mail before reading it. I don't know what to do. Help, please!!!

Take eharmony for instance. They charge $60 a month!! for what??? match.com charges $35 just to read emails. how do they get away with charging these fees? Why not charge $10 or so a month for the emailing. Finding love online is such a long shot. The free sites sites suck too. Just want to know if i am the only one thinking this is a rip off?

I moved to NY and my ex is in LA,I won't be moving back to LA until April.The reason he is my ex is because, well we weren't ready to be in a relationship, and long distance relationships don't work anyway.Since we aren't together dating other people is an issue we try not to get into because we both believe if your not with someone they are free to live how they want (crazy I know, but please do not judge us.)Anyway, we talk on the phone everyday for hours at a time.Nothing has changed since I came out here last month, we still love each other and have hopes of being in a relationship ONE DAY. We are still young, 21, and don't want to rush into anything and do anything we'll regret. So we are taking it slow.The problem is though, even though we may be dating others.The pain of being so far runs deep. I miss him so much that it hurts.I know that in life there's no guarantees and us getting back together is no exception. I refuse to lose hope, Am I crazy for having faith in us?

This child is 12 years old. He is mentally retarded but he is able to communicate better than most of his peers. I am friends with his parents and I am always very nice to this child. My problem is everytime he sees me, he always wants to grab my breast and my butt. Today, I was laying on my bed and he came up on me and tried to hump me. I am getting very annoyed about his behavior. I have thought about telling his parents about his behavior but they think it's cute but they haven't seen him do all the things he's done to me. I've tried talking to him and explaining that he should not touch a woman that way, but he won't listen. I've tried yelling but he just yells back. I've even hit him (not too hard just a few spanks on the back of his hand) but nothing seems to work. I really don't want to have this discussion with his parents, I don't know how to approach them. I'm sure they'll be offended but I see them at least once a week. What should I do about this situation?
