I've sorta liked this guy for awhile, but the more i get to know him the more i question if i really like him, or if i like the fact that he likes me. The problem is I really think i do like him..but i feel sometimes feel ashamed that somethings about him don't live up to the expectations i have in guys i date...for example 1.) I don't like smokers...he's a smoker 2.) I like guys care about learning new things about me...everytime i ask him something ex: his favorite color, he doesn't care to ask the same 3.) Outgoing guy...he's extremely shy and I don't know if i like that...idk what do you guys think? Am I being really childish or is this just going to hurt me in the future?

im so damn stressed out...if it wasnt for yahoo rules i would have used the f word and said im so f%%king stressed out.
i just got evicted and whatnot.
im not a person who smoke or drink or anything of that nature i just feel like my life is so messed up now and im jut SO STRESSED OUT THAT SOMEONE TOLD ME TO EAT AND NOT LET STRESS KEEP ME FROM EATING AND LITERALLY PUSHED FOOD IN FRONT OF ME CUZ I REFUSE TO EAT CUZ IM JUST SO SAD THAT I AM NOW LIVING IN A SINGLE WOMAN'S SHELTER SINCE I GOT EVICTED.I WAS THINKING OF MAYB SMOKING SOME WEED TO MAYB RELIEVE MY STRESS(MOMENTARILY) YOU KNOW TO KIND OF LIKE CALM ME DOWN.I KNOW THIS GUY AND HE SMOKE IT VERY RARELY BUT I WAS THINKING OF ASKING HIM TO GET SOME FOR ME CUZ I THINK I MAY NEED TO ESCAPE MENTALLY FOR A LITTLE WHILE.PROBLEM IS THAT I AM USING DEPOPROVERA SHOTS AND IT SAYS NOT TO SMOKE WHILE ON THE SHOT.IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE WHO HAD SERIOUS SIDE EFFECTS WHILE SMOKIN WEED WHILE ON DEPOPROVERA?

I've tried so hard to be calm and collected throughout all the wedding planning, but as every bride knows, it gets stressful.

The last straw for me, that made me break down in tears was my FMIL leaving me an unkind message about not getting all of "her" invitations out - 3 weeks before the wedding! I just started sobbing because I've been planning this whole thing by myself, and I'm doing the best I can.

Anyway, I feel bad for letting it get to me, and I was just wondering if anyone else let the stress get to them?

I have started sleeping on the couch nearly every night because I have sleep problems and once I am awaken, it can take hours to get back to sleep. I miss sleeping with him but when I have to get up for work in the morning, I have to have my rest. I have tried rolling him over but he snores no matter how he lays. We have tried the nose strips and he has consulted with a doctor who said there is no obvious defect that is treatable. The doctor did give me a strong sleeping medication (ambien) and he STILL wakes me up! Any ideas? Anything that works for you? Is is weird that I sleep on the couch--my kids think so. I hate to model that for them, but I am TIRED!

For the last two or three works, my girlfriend and I haven't been able to see each other. Something always comes up, she has to work, the baseball game gets rained out, and today her mom broke her wrist so she has to be home to take care of her.

I called her this afternoon and was a little bit fusterated. I told her that i could pick her up and everything so we could make tonite work. She told me she had to be home to take care of her (even though her sis and dad would be home). I know she still likes me and everything, (her mom is actually hurt i know). But i can't help but feel i was a little pushy and cold on the phone (i was really looking foward to tonite).

Should I call her tonite and apoligize? I'm so fusterated with never being able to see her with her job. Or do you think I should just leave her alone and see if she'll call me (in our whole relationship she's only called me twice, she expects me to make the calls)?

i have been with this guy Alex for 3 years...he has broken up with me so many times just to party and have fun, drink, different girls every night..etc. He always comes back in my life when im finally ready to move on and im not hurting so bad. Well We have a nine month year old baby girl now, and he acts like he loves us, then he goes and hangs out with his friends and totally rejects/abandons us and tells me to f*** off and calls me names when i want to be with him and spend time together. We were engaged..lived together and all that. Now My baby and I live back with my mom but i just feel so heartbrokena and sad it is taking over my whole life, its hard to even smile. Do people like him ever change? he has made me so many promises and i believed in him so many times. we have been broken up now for about a week i keep calling him and crying, he hangs up on me.I feel so lonley. i feel like i need him. I know hes a good person deep down. Should i give up..or keep trying to be afamily

When my girlfriend was 5 months pregnant I dumped her. I was fresh out of college and scared, so I bailed. I told her I would support her through the pregnancy but she refused. Two weeks later, I started dating another girl (my current gf) and I guess that made her more mad. I have been very sick for the past couple of weeks. Not the typical "I have a cold" sick but in the bed with weird & debilitating symptoms. I had an appointment to see the doctor on Monday for bloodwork but my husband's truck wouldn't start so he took my vehicle leaving me stranded & I missed my appointment. Ok, he's been working 12 hour days & I've been trying to take care of our 3 kids, keep the dishes washed, clothes washed & kids fed barely able to walk & in constant pain. This morning he was "knocking on the door" & when I didn't respond in a positive way he asked me if "I just never thought about sex anymore."

Ok, here is what I need to know. Men are you just:

a) really that stupid
b) really that selfish
c) really so controlled by your dick that you have no ability to feel compassion
or
d) all of the above

Please....any insight you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I am a 27 year old guy who has never been in a serious relationship. I used to have hope when I was in my early 20s that I would meet a nice girl and that we would get married and have a few children. Now that I am 27 I feel like my life is passing me by and I won't get married before I am 30. Everyone my age seems to have someone and I am all alone. I really don't know what to do? I love my boyfriend more than anyone Ive ever dated... Im not young this is not puppy love I am a grown professional adult and so is he. But we have major issues that will follow us throughout this relationship that are not going away. I do not want to break up with him because I love him so much. But these issues are major issues and this relationship just will not work. The issues are : trust, communication, family and friends, and the fact that he has a daughter already who doesnt want him to have anymore children (and he told her that he is happy just having her and wont have anymore kids but then told me that he wants more kids)... One of my coworkers has told me that somebody from South Africa, who is a multimillionaire, is asking him and his wife to take care of his 9-year old niece from Congo.

The problem is that he doen't know anything about this "mulimillionaire" from south africa. The only thing he knows is that he is going to offer my friend $65K/year to care for her. He met the guy for dinner last night. The only information that he has is the guy's first name and that he supposedly has a house in Brentwood, CA. My friend is buying it hook, line and sinker and I am concerned he is getting scammed.
