I am suppose to get married on October 27th but i have the most difficult family ever.
1) my mother is 100% negative about it.
2) NO ONE will help with anything I am planning and planning and asking for just a little bit of help but I guess it is to much to ask to get off their behind and make a phone call.
3) I don't know what to do about my bridesmaids.
ughhh I just feel so over stressed and i feel like i have way to much weight and stress on my shoulders to really support it anymore. I might just crack.
How do I ask for help with out being ignored?

I have a friend that is whipped beyond belief. We just graduated in June and he has spent from the minute he is awake to the minute he falls asleep with his girlfriend. Then, when all the guys want to do something, he either just leaves or brings her along to wreck the day. So we haven't talked to him for like three weeks, and we go talk to him last night and he didn't even seem excited to see us. It pisses me off cuz we are all leaving on missions soon and he doesn't even want to spend time with us, even though he doesn't leave for another year so he has all that time to be with her. I'm just ready to say screw it and just not try anymore. What should I do?

if i want my wedding colors to be red and aqua, and my wedding dress has red in it-what color do i make my bridesmaids dresses. honestly i'm kinda scared to make them all aqua-because that would be ALOT of bright blue, but i don't know what else to do with red and aqua. also i don't want my colors to end up looking like i'm doing a patriotic theme....its just his fav color is red and mine blue. also its going to be a spring wedding.

I live in Connecticut. I got divorced in the late 1990s. At the time, Connecticut law said I must pay child support until my son is 18. He turns 18 in a couple of months. However, some people are telling me the laws have changed and now child support continues while the child is in college. Nobody was sure if this new law applies to old cases though.
I sure would like to know what is up with this...my court appearance is in two weeks and I have no idea what I am in for. My attorney is on vacation and nobody at the courthouse knew the answer.

The girl I am with is great. She's smart, educated, sweet- all of that. However, she younger and the relationship is not as exciting anymore. Also, she wants to get married, have kids, etc. (Rightfully so, we've been togther for years). Thats the last thing I am thinking about.A lady friend of mine "was" in the same situation and overtime, we have developed this great chemistry and are extremely compatible. Ive totally fallen for this new girl. Im not trying to be a scumbag at all but I really like this other girl and want to find a way to make the right decisions. Do I tell my current girl that I am just not into mariage and kids and not to waste her time anymore?
Do I connect with this new one further? What do I do? Anyone who has had a similar situation or good feedback PLEASE RESPOND:)

My mother in law left her husband of 30 years and moved upstate where my husband and I are living (not with us of couse). She is cheating on my husbands father. He is in the dark about it because we are 350 miles away from him. Her husband thinks that if he spends all his money on her that she will come back, she even mentioned to him that he should take her to Florida. This is killing me to see him treated like this should I tell him that she has a boyfriend and she even spent the night at his house??? I just cannot see this going on any longer it is not fair to him, but I don't want to ruin the relationship with the grandchildren also. Please help!!!

I met this guy at a summer program about 1-2 months ago. I really liked him. He was always talking to me andd trying to make me laugh. At the end of the program i asked him if he would "like to come to the movies this weekend with me and a bunch of my friends" he sort of said yes but he was going to disney land with his family the next day. We exchanged emails and he emailed me when i got home, but all it said was "hey Buuuuuddy" i dont know if he likes me back?? i have sent him 2 emails and he hasent replyed. my parents bought the house I live in and I pay them rent and they have used that fact to control my life, I am afraid that if I don't do what they say they will kick me and my girls out, my sister on the other hand who also pays rent to them gets to do whatever she wants just because she is married and I am not, usualy I just let it pass, my sister and her husband have had dogs since they got married 12 years ago and my parents are fine with it, my girls know that they, our neighbors and their friends all have dogs and have asked if we could get one, which I would like to do but when I asked my parents if I could get a one they said that I was not allowed to have one cause apparently to them I am to stupid take care of one, that is total B.S, I don't know what I should do, part of me says I should just get one ( not to spite them but cause we want one) but another part of me is worried about what they will do if I "disobey" them, what would you people do?

He has been struggling with staying sober for the past year and did for 6 months until a month ago when he stole my car and got busted for his 3rd DWI. In NY thats a second felony. He may get treatment for his problem, but has been in treatment for the past 6 years and has been to prison, but he keeps messing up. He wants me to stay and support him through, and in a way I do because I still have faith in him, but I cheated on him recently. Hes not home, hes not there, and Im confused about what I should do. Im in love with him, but I dont want have to go through this again with him. I told him I would stay, if he gets treatment, but Im cheating on him, and I feel so ******* guilty,,,, please help

an american friend is staying with me and keeps annoying oneself. I went down into the larder earlier on and wasslightly perterbed when he asked for Jelly, I made him a bowl of jelly( 2 hours later) and he laughed and called me a jackass, he meant preserve( jam). He says YARP when hes agreeing and NAH whn disegreeing. Hes got some unbelievable theories too, he actually thinks that america has its own culture, how I laughed...He also believes that american education may be the equivalent of that of us Brits Ha! Ha! I must admit it has been an experiance but one that shall be forgotten rather quickly. Now I dont know whether to take him into the paddock and show him culture British style( with boxing gloves) or use my wit, grit and determination and outfox this cretin to make him believe that on the second night, in england its ood custom to sleep on top of the barn.

It's weird...I'm a older teenager but I only find older men attractive. I'm talking about 30's and early 40's older. It bothers me because I want to have a boyfriend my age but I just can't make myself accept anyone who isn't a lot older than me.

I've never really had a good father figure and my own brother rarely talks to me. I don't know if that has anything to do with it...

I never thought "older guys" were a problem until I developed a relationship with an older guy I knew. We had a lot of "chemistry" and I really liked him. I almost acted on it but he's married and I couldn't have lived with myself if I'd done that. I still feel for him though and it really bothers me...and every time I see him I want him(he feels the same) but I never do anything about it.

I have dated someone for several years. We haven't had sex in 3 years, don't say "I love you" any more and now I have moved to another state for a job. We did not celebrate our anniversary the past 2 years and he did not come to my graduation. We do still talk on the phone, sleep in the same bed when I am there, and have never had the "official" break up talk. Ocassionally he still refers to me as his girlfriend.
