Don't dramatically change your hairstyle right before your wedding. You want to still look like you. If you normally have bangs, why not sweep them off to the side? I think thats very pretty (and how I wore mine on my wedding day). However if you never have had bangs and don't know how you will look with them, don't go chopping bangs in that won't look right. After all if you hate it there is nothing you can do. You want to look your best on your day--but still like YOU! After all that is who everyone came to see and who he wants to marry.

they're perfect if they are done well.. the picture would work perfectly

i'm getting married and im getting a updo and leaving the side swept bangs down.. im actually getting my hair cut specifically to have side bangs for the wedding..

Absolutely. Just make sure the style will work with your headpiece. You should make an appointment with your hairstylist a few weeks before the wedding for a dry-run and discuss it then.

Depending on the headpiece, yes. A pulled back and tight hairstyle is always preferable to a 'hanging down around your face' one however. Its neater, looks formal and will not blow around in the wind.
