My ex-husband keeps saying that my daughter, he and I should try to live together once again. He has moved to a new town and says that if we start afresh, things may work out this time.

We were married for 13 years and then divorced. We both have not been able to move on.

I live in another state and he is closing on the house where he was living tomorrow. He keeps calling and asking where our daughter's stuff should be sent.

I have booked a ticket for her to come and stay with me. She is in limbo because he says she is not going with him. She is confused and does not want to stay in the same state where they were staying with her grandmother.

In one way, I do want to try and put the family together for both or our sakes and our daughter. I don't like being alone and do miss being part of a family.

In another way, I don't see either of us changing or adjusting.

The correct decision is hard.

My husband is 10 years older than I am, and I am finishing college in my mid-20s. I wear my ring every day, but a couple of things have happened and I have told him about it. First, one of the 20 year-old kids in one of my classes asked me out; I pointed out I was married, he apologized and said he hadn’t seen it. I went home, told my husband immediately… his reaction: “Good for you, that must have made you feel good!” as he high fived me!

Then, the next semester, I got close with the graduate students teaching one of my classes, because I was older and we had things in common. I never flirted with him, we just talked after class, I told him repeatedly about my husband, even about the sports they both liked to watch. On the last day of class, the guy asks me out!! I was mortified, again went home and told my husband, but this time I felt guilty – the guy KNEW I was married… I cried and my husband’s response was to hug me and say: “If you didn’t go, you have nothing to worry about. You can’t control what other people think”.

He didn’t even get mad… am I worrying for no reason? Why doesn’t he care that other men wanting me?

My sister-in-law and I used to have a great relationship, until I was pregnant with my son. Her brother and I were just engaged, and within 3 months she had raced to the alter to be the first to marry.

When we became pregnant with our second in January, she turned even more hard to deal with. We have been walking on pins and needles, and her mother is only slightly better. It's been so hard to enjoy or even discuss or enjoy the pregnancy.

Now she's pregnant, which is a great thing! However, part of me is selfish, hormonal and bitter. I feel incredibly jealous that her pregnancy is being celebrated while ours have always been pushed to the side to apease her attitude.

I went out and bought her some pregnancy gifts, but I am REALLY having trouble overcoming this bitterness. I mean, this is a woman who has never asked how we're doing and has even mentioned how FAT I've become since having a kid. Great times.

Any insight?

so i have known this guy for about 8 months. we met at work and drank together a couple times outside of work at his home.

ever since the first day i started working at my job he has been trying to have sex with me, and i kept saying no. he has a shady past that includes injection drug abuse, time in prison, and the sale of drugs.

he has since found a new job, but continued to stay in contact with me. he would call me at least once a week.

a month ago, i gave in and had sex with him. anal sex to be exact. the condom broke but he replaced it within 30 seconds with a new one before he came.

he hasn't called me since.

what do you make of this?

I was dating a guy for about 3 years, we broke up about 3 months ago and he is now tryng to get back with me, sweet talking me and beein nice. I miss him and love him as a friend and nothing more. I started seein someone new its nothing serious yet we are just dating but i like him. The ex has the assumption that i am seein someone and is worried and bothersome about it. If i tell him i am seein someone he will freak out probably cry and be hurt. I dont want to hurt him but I feel like keeping it from him isnt helping either. Should i tell him im seein someone now, or wait untill its more serious? I dont want to hurt his feelings and im afraid he will go crazy. But i dont want to lie to him either when he asks if im seein anybody?

ok so my friend has a REALLY negative self-image and i tell her she looks fine but she wont let any boys she likes see her in a bathing suit....this is her basically:
tall....VERY VERY thin (she has a butt though, and curvy hips), small breasts (she's paranoid about them), and she's VERY VERY white, she doesn't tan, but other than that she's pretty with nice hair....and she's not allowed to wear a bikini (reddish/blondish hair with some freckles and green eyes)
so she compares herself with the blonde...tan... woman with big boobs and thinks that guys dont hit on her....
as a guy, WHAT DO YOU THINK??? and if she had a REALLLY great personality, would that make up for everything???

I've been very stressed lately and over the last week or so I've realised that I don't love my bf anymore. We've had problems but they're being sorted but I looked at him the other day and realised I felt nothing for him. I said I love you and still nothing. When he said I love you back to me all i felt was guilt.

I have been with this guy for over 2 years and I have a child from a one night stand (that happended before me & my b/f started dating) My b/f was there when my child was born & has been like a father figure ever since. But he has an alcohol problem & I just found out that he went to a strip club 2 times last week when he was on a trip with his buddies. I think strip clubs are discusting and I was pissed when I found out he went, but now I am irrate to find out that he had one lap dance on one night while he was drunk and on the other night he was totally sober and still had a lap dance...and this was in Canada and they are pretty skanky there. I just feel like I am not satisfying enough or something. I can't stop imagining some nasty stipper rubbing herself by him. I don't know if i can forgive him and I think i have lost all trust in him....I love him & so does my daughter, but when do you say enough is enough???

My friend/colleague lives with her bf and they have an interesting system for dividing household costs. It seems to work for them and I'm about to move in with my bf so I was wondering what other people think? I don't know if this would work for everyone.

He makes 60% of the household income and she makes 40%. So in turn, he pays 60% of the bills and she pays 40% - this means he pays 60% of the rent, hydro, cable, etc.

I think it's a good idea - she said "we aren't roommates so we don't need to split everything right down the middle." Both of them make good money.

My bf and I are looking for a way to work our finances together and this seems like a good idea (our income split is 45/55). Does anyone else here do something like this? Or, do you have other suggestions?

How long do you and your boyfriend/girlfriend go without talking? Not because you are mad or because your apart, but...well you see heres the story...My boyfriend and I have been together for about 2 months. We've already established that we are not phone people, meaning that we dont have to talk on the phone for hours everynight...we both agree that because we live so close its pointless. Yesterday, I didn't hear from him at all, not even an e-mail. Maybe this is just me looking for the perfect guy that doesn't exist, but would you be concerned if you didn't hear from him? we go from spending all day together one day and then I hear nothing from him the next...what is this? One night he called at midnight to tell me he got home safe...but then some days he wont call at all. Oh, and another thing...one day he told me I looked nice. I don't know what to think of that. Nice is something you would say to your mother on her birthday. Men are so hard to read.

I am dating a cute guy for about 2 months. He offered me his key yesterday and I moved in. I almost fall in him, however, I think he does not feel the same way. The reason I am saying this because he can never be so passionate/wild in the bedroom which I consider a way to show your love to your loved one. Guys in earlier 20s should have a very strong sex drive, however, he is different. He never gave me two organisms one night. However, I was used to have three or at least two with my ex every time when we spent time together. I always felt unsatisfied and frustrated because sometimes I want to make love, he likes to say-it is time for bed. I understand that he needs to get up early (6:30am) and he works a lot(14 a day I-banking usually ) but my ex-boyfriends were also I-bankers and they acted very aggressive and never kept me sweaty in the bedroom. I felt so ignored and doubt my current bf's feelings towards me. He does not drink/party much, works hard, I love him! What should I do?
