That was a popular song around 1957. I think the group was Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers. As for the question itself: For SOME lucky people, love always works out. They marry and build their lives around each other for 60 years or more. Sometimes when one dies, the other dies within hours or days. A better question: For people like this, is love eternal? Do they meet somewhere else, and carry on the romance? Only God knows.
Love hasn't worked at all for me, and I'm doomed to never experience it in this life. If you have the same problem, I suggest you seek your happiness in something else. It's the only way left once you reach a certain age.

Because the people with gigantic intellect don't have time for petty things like love we are busy calculating when the next meteor gonna hit earth, how can we make a space ship,how to prevent terrorism you know what i'm talking about and that is why we don't fall in love
