No, it is because he got what he wanted and fled. Maybe his shady past has continued into a shady present.
Get tested if it will make you feel better, but I don't make anything of this other than the fact that this person is a less-than-respectable human being.

For starters, get tested. And then get tested again every 6 months. HIV can take a long time to show up, so keep yourself and whomever you decide to have sex with safe at all times, and communicate with your doctor often.
Secondly, you really should have stuck to your guns and not given in to him. You knew he had a shady past, and you were on the right track. That made you a challenge to him and you let him win. You got used, but be glad he's gone because he's obviously a dirtbag. If he comes around, tell him to F**K off.

First, are you certain he gave you HIV? Have you been to the doc for a blood test and the meds? Even though you were exposed to his bodily fluids it is possible that you didn't get HIV.
Second, he has not called you because he got what he wanted. And shame on you for sleeping with a guy you know has a deadly disease and trusting a condom to protect you. That is like playing Russian Roulette.
Go to the doc asap and get that blood test.

Are you sure he gave you HIV? Or is it something that you're just saying to be saying? There goes your answer, when a man looks for you alot & you guys are friends & you're playing hard to get, when you finally give it up, you can tell he didn't want you seriously because he hasn't call you. That's all he wanted- a piece of A$$.

I think you were used by someone who actually did try to keep you safe. You need to get checked. Of course he wont call you now. Just because he came in a condom doesn't mean there wasn't an exchange of body fluids. Get tested and figure that he tried to warn you. You may have cut your life really short by a moment of sexual stupidity.

I would be more concerned about having HIV than having some loser call you back. I would go get checked out and see and explain to your doctor of your guys dirty past. One night of pleassure is not worth a life of sickness, not being able to have children or even death.

I would count it as a blessing, I am sure you can do a lot better than him. Now he has a new job it will be easier to make the break. Get tested for STD'S then move on with your life, you are better off without him
