Ok, I'm a guy and my friend never tells any of his friends if something is bothering him. Everytime we ask, he just says he's tired and didn't get enough sleep. I've talked to him and he's shared a little with me, but not much. I get worried about him because I'm afraid he's going to bottle everything up and its going to overwhelm him one day. It happened to me and I don't want to see him go through that. I've told him multiple times that I'm there for him and that I would like it if he came to me if he needed to talk. I wonder if he just has trouble talking about his feelings. We have a group of about 9 or 10 close knit friends and none of us know him that well. Maybe I'm worrying too much and there's nothing wrong with him, but there are times when it's kind of obvious. He's told me about times where he was upset so he screamed into his pillow. I told him it's better to go to a person, he said he knew that but his pillow works fine. He said he'd come to me next time, but I doubt it.

In December, I got back together with a boyfriend who cheated, so I already have trust problems with him. One of the conditions was that we have 100% honesty, and he's been doing pretty well with it, 'til tonight. Of all things, he lied about how many drinks he'd had before driving home. (He's underage, but it would upset me even if he weren't.) It's not a huge deal, but a lie is a lie is a lie. I feel like he's testing the waters to see how much I'll put up with. I told him tonight if he lies again, even about a small thing, I'm out of here. But is asking for 100% honesty asking too much? I'm talking about when he lies on purpose- I can tell if it's just a mistake. I've gotten over alot to salvage this relationship, so maybe this is minor. But I also feel like after everything, I shouldn't have to overcome even more of the petty behavior. We've been together 2 1/2 years, he's always had truth problems. Are there "small" lies, and are they dealbreakers?

We have been friends forever, and he's in that confused stage of trying to find out who he is. I have like him forever as well. Is it possible for him to ever love me like I love him? He means that absolute world to me, and I want him to be happy, but I want to be happy too.

so this guy that i used to work with liked me. he knew i had a boyfriend and knew nothing would ever happen between us. then it seemed like he was trying to make me jealous. he could never say my boyfriend's name even though i always use it. he'll be like "how are you and your" ... and just kind of pause until i said boyfriend. (it always seemed that if the guy can't say you're boyfriend's name without some smart remark it meant he was jealous.) then he got a girlfriend. and he would come up and pretty much just be like i just had lunch with my girlfriend. i thought it was wierd only because he brought it up out of nowhere. then about a week ago i stopped by and ended up talking to him again. one of the first things he said to me had to do with the fact that he had just got off the phone with a girl and they had plans for sunday.
why does he do that?
does it mean he still likes me?

or at least a mother figure? someone who will talk to you when you feel lonely and deserted, someone who will listen and hear you out when you are bursting with complaints and curses and someone who will tuck you up in your bed, when you slept off after crying following a fight with her... i can't, can you??

I have been friends with this guy for over a year. We're in the same school & grade and hang out in the same group of friends.
Lately he & I have been talking about more intimate and personal topics than we normally would and we can talk to each other about anything, & over the past month he & I have become steadily closer.
On school camp, a bit over a week ago, I felt left out amongst a couple of my closest friends (even though I knew it was unintentional), & I'd had a really bad day & was pretty upset.
Once he heard I'd been crying, he searched the whole campus to find out what was wrong. The next night, we sat with his arms around me just talking about what'd happened.
Since then we've still been talking about everything & we also hug a lot more than normal (for a long time, we wouldn't hug, as we didn't have that kind of "touchy-feely" friendship).
We've been flirting heaps aswell. I really, really like him. Could he like me, or does he just care about me?

I asked this because, I went out on a date last night with a man I asked out and I can honestly say it has been one of the best dates I have ever had. Why don't women just do more of the asking so that way they don't complain that they never go out with a great man.(Just my opinion)

They said, "When you turn sixteen, then you can start dating",but now it's seventeen. I don't know what to do. I finally found someone that I truly like maybe love, but I haven't gone out with him yet. We've been together like for three months now and all I have been communicating with him is either by phone or at school (not to mention that we do not have any classes together) I'm suprise that he's still with me! Trust me I am a good kid and do most of my responsibilities maybe way more than some kids actually do. It's just that my parents are over protective. I just wish they cold seee how happy I am to be with him and me wanting my space. I don't have any girl friends, because they seem to be backstabbers with every one I tried out, so if I my boyfriend isn't just a boyfriend but a true blue friend then they should see how good he is to me instead seeking out something negative about him. It's mainly my stepfather who is all negative. With him, I rarely get to use the phone.

He hugs and kisses me (on the cheek) everytime we meet.
He tells me I smell good and smiles sweetly as he gazes into my eyes.
He tells me I look nice and holds my hand when we talk.
Then he runs away in a rush each and every time.

I'm confused. Is he JUST being nice and friendly? He's never asked for my number, email, nothing. So why bother being so sweet? We both graduated yesterday, so chances are I won't see him again, so there is no way he liked me right? Why was he always so nice if he didn't a least want to be my friend?

Be brutally honest, I'm trying to get over this crush if I have to, or do I need to fight? He'll be getting a Master's degree at our university, so if I have to find him, it's possible.

well, i just was thinking in loud way, but thanx for so many answers I`m really surprise.. and thanx to the poor americans guys who felt bad about my question.
But it`s true, u guys.. the americans ones say that You are not cold , cause you have born in ur world and don't know our world.
I have like 19 gf of mine from Venezuela,Peru & colombia who got married with americans and all of them are agree with me about ur cold side, but probably they can handle with that.. maybe I`m a little more warm than common latin girls,,....
They guy that i met is from a town close to Canada, and he said couples don't kiss in public and blah blah..I`m training him a lot about kisses and hugs all the time and he said, it`s beautiful, he loves that.. but for me it`s something that i shouldn`t to teach.. it should be something instinct on you.. ohh
never mind..

Make new friends
But keep the old
The first is silver
The last is gold

I am having a tough time keeping up with old friends and still having time to hang out with all the great new friends I am meeting. As a full-time working mother, it is becoming harder and harder to find time to nurture ANY kind of friendship with all that is going on, but I know that it is very important not to get caught up and lose touch. I thought of creating a schedule for when I should contact my friends, but this just seems so very "unfriendly". In my mind, the whole thing is supposed to be sort of a "been thinkin' about ya... how are ya?!" Kind of thing. It feels weird to have to schedule or "pencil in" my friends! Why is this so hard for me? When I was in high school, the first thing I'd want to do is get on the phone. Now the time investment just seems so high when balanced with kid's homework, his activities, etc. Sorry for the babble. Any answer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Me and my partner both have a fantasy of having a threesome (2 women and 1 man) this is something that we both have been wanting to experience for the longest. we have known each other for 6 yrs but im afraid that this experience might ruin our relationship. he's the perfect choice bcuz i feel totally comfortable around him, but theres one problem...i have low self esteem..my body isnt in top shape and sometimes that ruins the sex we have between each other. we both want the other person to have a wonderful body (nice breast, hips, a s s and thighs) but im not sure if this is a good idea..i suggested that we wait until i build my self esteem. my biggest fear is that this woman might be better than me in bed and that he may enjoy her more than me. please give me your honest opinion and please be serious
