so this guy that i used to work with liked me. he knew i had a boyfriend and knew nothing would ever happen between us. then it seemed like he was trying to make me jealous. he could never say my boyfriend's name even though i always use it. he'll be like "how are you and your" ... and just kind of pause until i said boyfriend. (it always seemed that if the guy can't say you're boyfriend's name without some smart remark it meant he was jealous.) then he got a girlfriend. and he would come up and pretty much just be like i just had lunch with my girlfriend. i thought it was wierd only because he brought it up out of nowhere. then about a week ago i stopped by and ended up talking to him again. one of the first things he said to me had to do with the fact that he had just got off the phone with a girl and they had plans for sunday.
why does he do that?
does it mean he still likes me?

Well girl it seems that even u like that guy but not ready to accept the fact.................y do u bother urself if he tells something bout his girlfriend stay normal bout..................because u are uncomfortable with watever he does ...he continues to do that...........he knowa that u feel jealous but not ready to accept it.

I think he is just trying to get a reaction out of you because he knew he couldn't go out with you and decided to try and manipulate you in some way. It really just sounds like he likes playing games with people because it gives him a false sense of control. It sounds like this guy has issues. Next time he asks, "how are you and your..." Just say something like "I'm great, thanks for asking" and walk away. Don't finish his sentences for him or act frustrated. Don't let him think he is bothering you and eventually he will stop. If he talks about making plans with his girlfriend, say something like "sounds like you guys are going to have fun". Just short answers and then nothing else.

Yes, but I don't know why. Did you do things to make him think there was a "chance"? One thing I know is Men and Women were not designed to be "just friends". One of you will always want more regardless of what the opposing person thinks or wants to believe. Maybe you should distance yourself from this guy. What he is doing is not healthy for either of you.
