I am 22 years old, my husband is 24. We have been married a year. We dated for a year before marriage. During the year of us dating, I caught him in numerous lies. Most were stupid lies, but still lies. About 3 weeks after our marriage he left me for 9 weeks for Naval boot camp. He is currently active in the US Navy. Since we have been back together(around 6 months), he has not lied to me that I have found out about. I recently caught him adding a single female from one of his training classes to his myspace account. He first told me she added him, but than recanted that. Over the past 3 days, I have done my own research on the situation. I have found that he hangs out with her out of class. To me it is wrong for any married person to hang out with a person of the opposite sex who is not married. I understand talking to her in class, but taking it outside of class is wrong to me. The problem now is that I do not trust him in the LEAST bit. Can our marriage still work and how?

Okay there is this new girl in my class and she is ruining everything. All my friends want to be her friend instead of mine because she is pretty. And my exboyfriend was flirting with her and she was flirting back. What should I do about her flirting with my exboyfriend and stealing all my friends.

I haven't had a father since I was 2. I just got a father 2 weeks ago and I don't even know the man. I am not sure what you do with him. He asked to walk me down the aisle and I wanted my brother to do it. I just don't know what to do... I am not exactly sure how I am suppose to accept him. Please help!!

For 18 months I've been ill & in & out of the hospital. I’ve work a few days then I'll get sick, have to leave the job or they fire me b/c I can't perform like the others. My husband has been supporting me financially this whole time. I’m constantly trying to get/keep a job. A few times he became angry with me for getting fired or throwing up on myself at work when ill, but overall he's been accepting. He carries us both of us financially on a taxi driver's budget. Also his kids from a prior marriage moved in with us 9 mos ago (ages 14, 18 & 20 all males) he doesn't think they should pay bills. He supports them about 80%. He's scheduled to go to Africa for 2-3 months. He goes every other yr. Usually I’m working but not now. I have no family, disability takes yrs to get. Should I be mad at myself for telling him, "Oh I'll be fine on my own, go." Or should I be mad at him for even thinking about leaving me unemployed and ill to fend for myself? Or am I the bad guy here? Your thoughts?

One of my friends said today that he would kill himself just because he was being annoyed by some guy. He's never said this before, but lately had been saying "I can't take this anymore" and stuff like that. I'm not sure what to do, but I don't want to ignore it. Who should I talk to?

Me and my daughters father had a personal(it was only between us) agreement of amount he would pay me in form of money order every week.The only type of document I have is a notarized letter--signed by him-- which stated that he no longer lived with me and was providing $$ amt. as child support for our daughter. I needed this letter for an apartment which we had both applied for, but since our living situation changed, I needed this as proof to break original application. I have not received money from him in 6 weeks. I already have a court date for Child Support Enforcement but by then it will already be 8 weeks since he has given me money. I want to know if there is a way to get the money from the past 8 weeks.

i always get my self into the worst situations because i just cant tell someone i dont want to do something! such as If my friends say hey you want to go to the movies and i actually dont want to see that movie and have somthing else to do i will still just say YEA! later that day i will be stuck in a bad situation were i have to lie to get out of going to the movies. but if i would have just said No then i would have never gotten to the Lying part. and i dont think my friends would be mad! but how can i say No in a nice way?

hello,

i'm in a middle of a separation/divorce with the husband. i've been threatened that i would not be able to go to california to visit my parents with the girls without his blessings or it'll be illegal and i might get in trouble with the law. he's already keeping me here because i wont abandon my kids and i don't want to be charge with kidnapping. -_-.. i don't know much about it except for what he has told me. does anyone know if he can do this to me? thanks!~ i need support because i want to go in june to have mutal support from my family and friends. thanks!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for around 3 months but we've been best friends for a year. I'm 20 and he is 24. I am a virgin and I want to wait for the guy I know I am going to marry. He isn't a virgin but he told me that he wants to wait for me. We are always kissing and hugging and he gets "excited" if we just kiss. Is this normal?? Alot of people tell me that the person that you have your first time with you will always have love for. Or that you will always be in love with. I lost my virginity to this boy and we no longer talk no more he still calls me but we no longer are boyfriend and girlfriend. My best friend Kerri's boyfriend says he might notice a pretty girl now and then, but he doesn't 'check them out'. According to him, you'll never see him "drooling". At first I told my friend that this has to be complete b.s., but the more I thought about it, the more I believed it might be true. When a man is in love, does he feel a certain sense of being content that causes his eyes and mind to wonder a lot less?

Ok, if any of you have read my previous questions, you know my marriage has some issues. My husband and I want to try to fix things and go to counseling. I'll admit...I am a little prideful about the whole "needing help" idea. How can I not feel so ashamed to need help with our marriage? Both of us need issues resolved, but can't do it on our own, we've tried working thru things by ourselves, but it just never works. So, how is counseling going to be any different at all? I'm getting married tomorrow! And my stomach is upside down. This was suppost to be a simple ceremony and it's turned into a huge todo! We wanted to have friends and family and sink money into the reception and honeymoon. We leave for our honeymoon tomorrow night for a week cruise. I have been packing for 2 hours and I'm overwelmed with stress. He's working and won't be home until later tonight. I'm afraid I'm going to forget something >>> ceremony/honeymoon and I'm thinking about going accross the street and have a drink! How am I going to relax and just go with the flow? It seems as though since my husband abandoned me, our marriage, and had his early mid life crises that I began to build an incredibly high wall. Based on my beliefs that as a Christian, I cannot re marry unless he dies, I have been really going against my beliefs and allowing a relationship with a really great guy to begin. My heart is still very walled up though. Should I assume that I am not supposed to continue being open to loving again because of this wall and my beliefs, or should I just assume that the wall is there because I was hurt and it will take more then the 3 years its been to break it down and allow a wonderful man into it? My husband and I have an open relationship - he is allowed to do whomever he wants and so am I. My bf and I got caught one night by a neighbor who was with my husband , my husband was mad but just because my bf was a friend of his (but we didn't have any rules against that)and the fact that a neighbor had caught us. Now my bf has been acting weird. He has stopped the way he use to be around me and is acting more standoffish. Why? He knows the relationship is open, and that I can still do what I want. I know that he loves me because he still tells me he does. Even after we got caught we talked and he wanted to know who it was who caught us, because he didnt know. When I told him, he was furious saying that he would take care of that person for screwing things up. So I know that he still cares and still wants to be with me, so why is he acting so strange???? Why can't things just go back like they were?? Help please!!!!
