I am getting married later this year and was wondering if you had any ideas?

It's an Indian wedding - so a long two hour ceremony where people are seated, chatting amongst themselves!! All the weddings I go to are the same and I wanted some different ideas! e.g. indoor fireworks, maybe falling petals.

The wedding is going to have LOADS of guests, so my chocolate fountain idea won't work as it would be too many people wondering around..

The wedding is going to be in a marquee, which is different anyway, but any ideas will be much appreciated!! thanks!

Friend in trouble?
Friend met guy on cupid, after 3 months ready to commit? Help!?
My friend met a guy on cupid. He has 3 kids and is just a bit older than her. He thinks only 1 kid is his (says his exwife cheated). He told my friend he might fight for custody of the one kid, as long as it doesn't mess things up between them. He recently told her he hates using condoms. He also complained when he couldn't make her climax. When she said she wanted to wait to have sex, he asked he if she needed flowers, rose petals, music- he could run out and get them. She already calls him honey and they have already talked about getting married one day and that he would move in with her. He said his ex wiped him out financially. I am afraid he is using her. What should I do? I told her to have him get tested and make him wear condoms. She is normally SO much slower in a relationship and SO much smarter.

As a step-mother, should I expect recognition on Mother's Day? The divorce paperwork says that Mother's Day is spent with the mother, and I understand that. But should I be upset/angry/disappointed if my step-daughter doesn't even acknowledge me? On the other hand, what about her step-father? She treats him as well if not better than her dad?

My best friend's boyfriend came out of the closet to her. Funny thing is I knew he had a little sugar in his tank and I would tell her, but she would never believe me. Now she is crying and heart broken, but he says he still loves her and wants to keep the relationship going. He even said he possibly might like to keep dating women! I dont get it, she still wants him! He is gay, he likes men so why is she still sticking around?

Been on 4 dates with the guy I'm seeing now, we have made out, nothing much more...he calls once or twice a week, and I see him at work a couple days a week. I really like him but he hasnt asked to be exclusive. I just found out a guy I thought I had no chance with that I was interested in is interested in me, Is it okay for me to go out with him since the first guy hasnt mentioned being exclusive?

ex-gf she lives accross the street and they've been childhood friends. They know each other from pre-k. But recently i found out that she's a little whore, because she has been asking my husband to lunch and one night they went out she told him she's on birth control. I told my husband I didn't like that, she should know better she's married. I told him she wouldn't like it if i told her husband i was in birth control, but my hsbd said he would've just said ok just like he did. So did i think things too far? My husband thought nothing of it when she told him that she was on b.c. He ignored her because she was "drunk". I believe him, but i still dont want that whore acting like that. After all a guy is a guy and a whore a whore. Am I wrong?

I am 15 and still a little immature, I hang out with my sisters friends, but they are two years younger than me and my sister always is complaining about how I take her friends. I would like to find some girls that are my age and that like the same things I do, but I just dont think that will happen. I like outside and running around still and the other girls my age don't like to even sweat. I love clothes and dressing nice, but I just cant seem to mannage staying as nice as the other girls. I have one friend who is like me but I hardly ever see her. I don't want smoking in my life. When I met this person, I didn't know that this person was a closet smoker. As we became more involved, I noticed that the person would smoke rarely and radomly. You know, when drinking, or sometimes a co-worker would offer one. When we got engaged, this person promised and quit smoking. I know it doesn't sound like much, but since the engagement, this person has broken promises and lied to me about not smoking and quiting smoking. Trust me the lying has been addressed, but the smoking remains like this. This person has chosen to smoke whenever without regard for my feelings towards the issue. I know I'm making a mountain out of a mole hill, but what if it translates to other areas of concern? I love this person a lot and this person has so many great qualities that outweght this. I guess it is a personal choice. I never wanted to date or be married that someone who smoked at all. Should I just get over it? Thanks for your opinion.

Last year I found out this really shy guy had a crush on me. I was still all for my crush of two years and so inexperienced with relationships with boys (and still am) so when I found out from a friend he liked me, I just was totally all for it. Problem was he was too shy (and so am I so it sucked) and everytime I was around him I thought about my crush and it made me upset that he wasn't my crush you know? So 3 months ago I told the shy guy I didn't feel the same way...felt kind of good afterwards and stuff, thought I'd did the right thening, he took it kind of hard, but at that point I was kind of glad to be rid of him cuz he felt like an extra limb or something. In short, I've found out my crush isn't all that and I apologized to the guy for doing what I did. I sent him a message on myspace 3 days ago and he still hasnt sent 1 back. And he's been on, I've checked. Any ideas as to why?

I have an ex bf that I've been seeing because we're working on our relationship. The problem is that I don't talk to him at night at all. We talk everyday but it's when we're at work. I don't even call at night because a couple of times I did and his phone was off. I can't accuse him of anything because I just can't, but I want to put my foot down and have him make a call to me more than in the mornings. Is that too much to ask?
