My boyfriend of 9 years & i just broke up last month. the breakup was because of the distance, he claim that he can't feel me anymore. and recently i found out from a friend that he's already with a new girl... I'm so devastated... its so unfair... i barely live everyday because i'm depressed of the recent breakup and he can date again after just a month?? Why is it so easy for him?? We had a 9 years relationship, we almost got hitched... how come he can forget that 9 years of relationship in just barely over a month??

why love could hurt this much?? why love is never fair??

help me... i'm in a very sad state.

We started off as friends, talking on the phone. I knew her for about 2 years, and both liked eachother. She always had a crush on me and I would act macho because we are both in a military program. Anywho, we talked for months. We shared the same interests and ideas, very alike. We stopped talking and then she had a boy friend a few months later. He cheated. Long story short, we went out after some time, and it went beautifuly. We fell for eachother. After 2 months, I neglected her by pushing her away. I started being rude, not caring, not giving her attention, and lost trust because she got drunk one night and lied to me scared I would break up.I was upset, but I neglected her. She cheated, kissed another guy drunk, broke up with me right after, couldn't look at me, nothing, we didn't speak for 2-3 months, and now we are talking again, says she realizes what she lost, no guy cared as I or was open enough to just be stupidly romantic & caring. Is there light in this darkness?

i say tell lies...who cares if there small or big...lies help people not get hurt...and when they find out it was all lies...there more hurt about the lies than the actuall issue that the person was lieing about...so u actually help them get over things quicker....so lies is actually better than telling the truth!!

i was mad at my ex for choosing to go clubbing most of the time, then going out with me, now i didnt want to cakk him, and i surely didnt want for him to think i was weak, but it was about 1 and a half week, that i hadnt heard from him, i had to be the dumb 1 to call him, but i did...and at first he wasnt picking up the phone, but he told my friend that he misses me, but that he wasn going to call because he felt like he didnt do anything wrong, anyhow, i gave in...and i called him, so that preety much send the sign that im weaker when it comes to emotions and sticking to my word..anyhow, i really wanted some quality time, atleast to see him, well i called and he ended up coming ovr, one thing lead to another and there we were making love, it felt aqward b/c i hadnt seen him in like a week, but it felt like thats where i want to be, we are i guess back in touch, but how can i prove to him that i dont need him even though im trying to keep things in a good way between me and him

X is up in age. She's going to be 71. We've been in an on again off again relationship for over a year and a half. She is the one usually breaking up with me only to go back into a chatroom to try and find someone else. She gets in these moods where you can't talk to her. If she starts an argument she doesn't want to talk to you and will cut you off, no emails, no phone calls, nothing. She's done this so many times. In fact I was in NY (5 hours away from where I live) and she threw me out at 1:30 am and I had to drive home all those hours with no sleep and upset. I've treated her good and even changed things about myself to please her but nothing seems good enough. She's judgemental, jealous, controlling and you can count all the friends she has on one hand. Her family doesn't even bother with her, her sister nor her son and grandkids. Is something wrong mentally? I mean sometimes she's sharp as a tack and other times she gets in these fits of rage. I'm younger then her.

For me... yes, it is... bein honest is realli very important... cos wen u tell a lie... it requires more lies to cover it up... so why lie?? and wen u lie and that person is goin to find out.. its goin to realli hurt that person.. think for urself. .would u ever want a person whom u trust a lot lie to u??? believe me.. it will hurt like hell.. a lie may help u escape in the present but smth big will be comin ahead... and of course... aft lyin to a person, wont u feel guilty weneva u're tokin to that person??? if u're afraid to speak the truth den atleast dont tell a lie.. its jus goin to make things worse.. the best thing would be to talk things out... its btr to tell the truth and clear the misunderstandings den to tell alie and separate from that person due to ur one lie...

I know most of you will say shame on me with this and I don't expect you all to understand me but I want some insights anyway.

I came from a 3rd world country and I married my husband from North America to make my life better. I was an abused teen, my mother would beat me up with anything she can (belt, paddle etc) whenever I do something wrong and it doesnt matter if we're in public or not. So, that was the main reason why I married someone from far far away, so I could escape from my controlling mother. But I had the intention to stay and love my husband if he treats me right. He used to abuse me verbally back when he was alcoholic but I tolerated it coz he was drunk anyway. Now he stopped drinking, and smoking but I want something else. I have always been dependent on him for the last 5 yrs and I have a strong desire to be independent now. He is letting me go but am worried about my future because I know if I stay am secured & I feel like I might not get over him.

I am 24 yrs old and have been married for 4 yrs most of which was happily. I have a son from another relationship who is 5.5 yrs old gets along great with my hubby the only dad he has ever known. Before my seperation with my hubby we were trying to get pregnant for almost 2 yrs. I like this boy, and I'm not sure if he likes me, but I'm quite sure he doesn't. The only reason that I would think he likes me, is that he's always like...looking at me. And I asked my friend, and my friend said he's always like that, so yea, I'm not sure whether he likes me or not, and I don't dare to tell him that I like him, because I realised whenever I have love issues, I would tell the guy that I like him, and everytime, I just end up with the guy saying "Oh cool, sorry, but I only like you as a friend" etc. What should I do? Met a guy 2-3 years ago we were seein each other for 8 months, we gelled right from the start, but he wasn't 100% in the frame of mind 4 any commitments, typical commitment phobic & a person who loves freedom. He messed me about in the process with broken promises, 1 minute saying that I am going be future woman etc but it didn't seem to happen. Durin the time we were so close he was even calling me 24/7 from the UK to the US sayin we are goin to b together when i return & that we were going to plan a holiday home as we both hav family in Florida US! Then he would change his mind again about a commitment. Obviously this hurt as I kept thinking that there was hope! I wasn't happy as he was being very self-centred durin the time we were seein each other as he wasnt in the frame of mind. He decided that would should be friends 4 now as it wasn't fair to me. So I gave him 1 last chance to ask him if he was 100% sure Im goin to start seein some1 else & that there was no going back.

So the deal with this girl is that we've been friends for a while, and I like her, but I'm not desperate to be with her, so I'm perfectly happy continuing being friends. The thing is I really don't know whether or not she likes me... Recently our conversations are filled with a lot of awkward moments. It's kinda like she tries to hard to avoid awkward moments, and ends up making everything awkward, then she quickly looks away and changes the conversation to something else... I have no idea what this means. I think she's probably wants to stay friends, and thinks I like her, and she's acting in a way to show me that she's not interested. Am I wrong in this analysis? lol... In any case, I really don't mind just being friends.

So what do you think it is? I'm a bit clue less haha.
