Announce to your guests that in order for you to kiss, they must stand up and tell a story, or share a memory, about either you or your fiance, or about you as a couple. Then get ready to reminisce, to laugh, and to brush away tears. Your guests will be kept entertained and you'll have so many more special memories of your big day to look back upon

There are so many things you can do to customize your wedding. I have seen a traditional Indian Wedding on the WE channel recently, and to be honest, it seems so pretty and exotic and different all on its own. If you want to switch it up, maybe you could get performers come say a snake dancer, boys choir, artist to do guests pictures, henna artists to decorate everyone's hands, taste stations (where you have a variety of different drinks and foods set up at sifferent stations for the guests to enjoy), singer or whatever. those would be nice.
Stay away from fireworks or anything that can fall and light the place on fire. They do fireworks outside for those reasons. Balloons or streamers falling would be nice, fill the dance floor with rose petals, instead of the traditional dances you could put a number under everyones placemat that corresponds to another guest and they have to dance...
Either way, good luck and congrats!

You can still have a chocolate fountain...just get two or more. They're relatively cheap at Michael's (are you in the States?). Indoor fireworks are not a good idea...they're typically done outside for a reason. Falling petals would be nice if you can rig up something to drop them. Or how about a bubble machine?

I have an idea for a centerpiece.....place fishbowls with a cheap fish like a black morrow. I did this for a graduation party! People loved it. Depending on how many people you have, you can play a game to where you stick a glow-in-the-dark star under the table. Then close to the end of the ceremony, let the guests know that whomever has the star closest to them gets to take the centerpiece home.

Indoor fireworks might set the place on fire. The falling petals sound good, what about balloons? I love chocolate fountains, that's a great idea. You could have one chocolate, one caramel, one cheese. You could do the reception fondue style.

You could do a horse drawn carriage thing and if you really want a fountain, use some kind of beverage in it.
