I am 15 and still a little immature, I hang out with my sisters friends, but they are two years younger than me and my sister always is complaining about how I take her friends. I would like to find some girls that are my age and that like the same things I do, but I just dont think that will happen. I like outside and running around still and the other girls my age don't like to even sweat. I love clothes and dressing nice, but I just cant seem to mannage staying as nice as the other girls. I have one friend who is like me but I hardly ever see her. I have resorted in just befrending guys and having guy-friends, but they are just into me for a deeper relationship and I think I just want a nice "girlfriend" to hang out with and have my kind of fun. What is wrong with me?

Get involved! Are there any groups or clubs that focus around the things you like to do? If you like to run, why not join the track team? Focus yourself on activities that will give you the opportunity to do something you like, and socialize. Don't put too much on trying to find a great friend. Take it one step at a time. And just because you don't feel popular, doesn't mean other people don't like you. Give it time and try to assert yourself. You may find a pleasant surprise.

Same thing happened to me All I can say is having friends that are your sisters friends are fine. Friends are friends they dont have to be your age. And just be yourself and i am sure you will start getting friends your age. It does not matter if you are mature or not maturity has nothing to do with friends really. Just find people with the same interests as you there is a group of friends for everyone. Start talking to people so they can get to know you.
