that she bought, and it doesn't match the other one? One is wood grain, and the other is flat black. Looks odd, but she likes them.

We have become real close we go to school and spend all our time together, he's extra fun and very very good looking. A week ago Instead of kissing his cheek goodbye I licked it and he was like surprised. I totally panicked and sent a sms telling him i was ashamed and i wouldn't do it again. The next day he told me he was not angry but surprised and that he thinks of the incident as a friendly thing to do. Should I jump at him or fulfill my promise of controlling my impulses on him?

My friend asked his big friend who he said he's not attracted to, Martha, to bring a second friend so it can be a double date. My friend said after hanging up, "I'll get the friend, you can have Martha" I wondered what he thought I was. It really bothered me because he didn't act like I was going to be upset either. I did feel like he didn't respect my feelings, because he just dumped a girl onto me that HE didn't want because she's not attractive. I just felt like he used me to his advantage and he knew he could do it because I am a shy person.

She left me ten months ago. Turns out she had started an affair with a guy in the neighborhood who had just left his wife. All four of us live within 6 blocks of one another.
We have two kids, 2 and 5. She has dumped this guy (confirmed by my in-laws who were in on this all along but that is another story) and wants to start to go to marriage counseling to "put the family back together." She claims to love me and miss me.
I am so angry with her. It was bad enough that she left but she also filed for divorce using all kinds of personal husband-wife type information against me. She has dismissed the divorce action.
She also got involved with someone in the area so everyone knows about it. Wouldn't I look like a fool? One part of me thinks that it is worth it for the kids and I do love her. But the other part believes that it would be foolish. Any thoughts?

After a year of dating, my boyfriend asked me to move in with him, since we both been married before we agreed not to rush things and live together for 1 year and then, if everything was ok, he would propose. (He is a very shy person to the point that his ex-wife was the one that propose)

It's been almost 1year and 1/2 and still no proposal. I talk to him asked him if perhaps our relationship is not what he wanted, he said: "I love you and yes I want to marrie you some day" At that moment I felt kind of sad, I thought he was not ready he notice so he said to me: "Had it ever occur to you that I might not know how to do this?"

So.. knowing he is very shy and it is so hard for him to do this. What should I do to help? Or perhaps I shouldn't do a thing.

What do you think?

It seemd that a girl i liked was interested in me for a small time we didnt really know each other that much, but we did get along very well. However my m8 thought it to be funny to chat her up and he was flirting with her etc. Ive sent 3 texts over like 2 days 2 of them just asking how is she etc, last one asking whether she got the text msg. I know she isnt low on credit or anything because she has texted my friend. He cant even be a friend for doing such a thing. She hasnt been on msn and hasnt responded. Is she playing hard to get or is she just being plane rude? A couple of days ago i dont get it we were talking fine then all of a sudden silence. Ive left comments on myspace ok not the best idea just to see if she would reply. She has been on myspace i know for sure. Is she being rude, Playing hard to get, Likes my friend or has my friend possibly said something about me to wind her up or something i dont know!! please help

my guy and i've been seeing each other for a while and we recently got in a huge argument about religion. hes athiest and i am a christian although the differences are not important at this point. he is a philosphy major and apparently his hobby is iniating debates with me over religion. i've made it clear its a hot topic and feelings get hurt when he continues. during this fight i realized that its almost impossible for him to open up with me and share his feelings. when this happens he tends to ignore my phone calls and later says he didnt want to talk so he doesnt say something hurtful. everything else is perfect.. i just feel like he doesnt give a lick about my feelings.. i'd like to explain this to him but even with this above explanation, it doesnt get through..

Ok, I fell in love when I was 18. I was with the guy for two and a half years. I truly believe he was my soul mate, but he also hurt me really bad. We have been broken up for a year or so now, and I don't want to be with him, but I don't want to really open up and let anyone else in. I am dating this new guy, and he's great, but Im always think about my ex. I wonder how hes doing, if hes doing ok, and stuff like that... and I am afraid I will never let myself love anyone else again????/

my bf and i have an apartment and when our friend phil left his due to an argument we let him move in.
everything was great til this past week. in the past week he's gotten really drunk and forcefully kissed me, twice, i told him to stop the first time then told my bf the second time and he was angry but excused the fact he was drunk... i think our friend mac that was over was more upset over it than my bf.
than last night we asked phil to turn his stereo down a bit cuz we were trying to watch a movie and couldn't hear it... he got pissed and threw the stereo outside in the rain... it's not his stereo. then came out yelling at my bf saying he shouldn't have to turn the radio down cuz he doesn't tell us to turn the computer down when we're listening to music... which we would if he asked.
he's also recently picked up a drug habit that makes him sketchy and last night he left never came back.
my bf wants to give him another chance but i don't... is this wrong???

This is a question for people in relationships. Does it bother your partner if you have a close opposite sex friend even though the friendship is completely platonic. (this is assuming that you are hetersexual; reverse the question if you are homosexual) To explain, my husband always gets one of my close male friend's name wrong and, although he is very polite to my friend's face, he makes rude and crude guestures to me if I am on the phone which really irritates me.

Why is it important to have a guy you're dating stand up to you? Not arbitrarily, but like when you test them, to see what you can get away with? In my mind, I see she wants to see how far she can go until I get upset with her.

I met this guy (actor) who is so cool, crazy and out there (like me), indpndnt, smart...basically he is the kind of guy that I want. I'm a frshmn in college and he is 3 yrs older. Whn we 1st started hanging he told me that he was ready to settle down and he was looking for the person he wants to be w/ forever. After about two weeks he told me he loved me but it was because he wanted to have sex w/ me (I told him that I wasn't going to until he was in love w/ me). He and I both know why he said it. I havn't brought it up. He also says that he's not able to be in a relationship (even though he just was in 1 that he would have continued had the girl not been crazy). He likes spending time w/ me*, loves my body, says that I'm the sexiest girl he's ever been w/. He enjoys my company (he's always inviting me places). He calls and texts me all the time and calls me baby. But he doesn't want to commit to me supposidly because I want to be serious and maybe marry him one day. I don't!

I am seriously considering divorcing my husband. He is a pathological liar, who cannot keep a job, and I have just had 11 years too much. My question is, when do I say something to the kids. Do I wait until I file divorce papers, or do I sit down and talk to them about it first. (I'm thinking of for some strange reason we work this out, and then the kids know about our problems.. Obviously we fight all the time which is not good for them to see, but I'm sure a divorce will be devastating to them. My husband refuses to discuss a divorce, says he doesn't want one, but I'm pretty sure I do. (I signed up for counseling, but he refused to go, which I just go by myself for my own sanity.)

My stepdaughter is 10 and lives with her Mom. My Husband and I see her every other weekend. We live about 2 hours away. This past weekend we told her her Dad has a job interview in another state. (we would have better opportunities there) I have a 5 yr old girl and we had a baby 5 months ago. We didnt want her to feel left out because we would love to have primary custody of her, but always before when my husband would ask her where she wanted to live she would hesitate to say she wanted to stay w/her Mom. So he told her how the custody situation would work, most of the summer, every other spring break, and half of Xmas vacation with us. He told her that theres always a place for her at our house. She told him, "My Mom said if I wanted to live w/you, she would support me." Another thing my Husband and I are concerned about is, her mother is a pot smoker, cant keep a job, goes through bf's like underwear...etc. We talked to her Mom about custody and she said no way.
