Depends on two things:trust and your relationship.
If there is a lot of trust and your relationship is good then you don't need to talk every day.
Personally, if I really loved someone I would make sure that I talked to them at least once a day even if it just to say I was thinking of you, but I am old fashioned like that.

I would love to be called at least once a day even if only to say good night or good morning but every other day should be suffice. Once in a while you want a good half hour to an hour convo.

I didn't live with my husband until after the wedding. He was the first guy who I dated who I didn't need to talk to every day. I knew everything was ok with us. I pretty much knew what he was doing, etc. We did talk at least every other day, but if THAT call didn't come, my world wasn't ending. I trusted him and I still do.

wow..good question..we dont live together either..but hopefully soon..but in the beginning of our relationship he called like twice a week...and we saw each other every other weekend.arghhhh i hated that and i would complain to him but then he did the same sh it..as we got to really know each other he calls every other day..now i call him when i feel like..his payback..but we havebeen together now almost two years..i hope it last..because i am so attracted to him sexually and others ways

everyday or every other day, but he shouldn't be doing all the calling either. If you need to tell him to call then its not worth the call, "maybe hes just not into you"

well I live in TX and my SO lives in L.A.
we talk everyday atleast once, if we don't talk that day
then he text messages me.
You should find ways to stay connected, i'm not there so I send flowers, little gifts to let him know i'm thinking about him.
I say once a day is good, or every other day... if not verbal communication, a text per day is good also.

There's no number you can put on it. It depends on how much they like to talk on the phone. When I was dating my husband he only called once, twice (if I was lucky) at the most a day. He hates the phone.

at least once on days that u dont see each other, unless the guy is seriously busy or has some drama he needs to take care of.

well me and my bloke lived miles apart, we saw each other every weekend and spent a minimum of 2 hours every day on the phone to each other
